Excellent tent. I haven't been able to put through the rain test yet. I was unfortunate it enough to have beautiful weather. I have a low profile toolbox on my truck and it did not interfere with the set up. It actually provided a shelf. It was very spacious, coupled with a full size mattres, I would recommend.

Highly recommend! Fits the truck bed perfectly. Very stable and held up to strong wind and rain with no problems. The rain cover is difficult to get on and you'll probably need another person to help out. But overall it's worth the money.

Fit my 2018 Colorado short bed. I think it will work but the strap is almost completely frayed and torn. It was clearly used and put under tension. Unfortunately I don’t have time to order another. (Waiting to hear from service-responsive so far) UPDATE: My friend and I took it out for a test run. In spite of 98-100F day temps and 80s at night, we found it remarkably comfortable (well not uncomfortable.) I have a queen size air mattress that put us high in the tent and I believe that allowed us to be in the cross breeze between windows. We decided it was easier to put up and inflate mattress at home then just collapse tent and fold ends of poles. My Tonneau cover covers the whole thing. We flip the cover up against the back window and pop the tent up and take it down as needed. This we make it even more useful when traveling and stopping for the night. I liked being off the ground. Just being higher up I felt safer because I had better view of the area. POV: We are 2 very small older (49 and 59) ladies who love the outdoors and are not high maintenance. I see a lot of travel in the Fall and Spring, even buy myself. This will be great.

-UPDATE- I am upgrading my initial review from 2 to 5 stars to reflect this companies customer service. The day after my first review, I was offered a full refund which I accepted. I still love the tent except for the leaks around the zippered openings. To stop this I put a tarp over the tent when rain is forecast. I am on a month long camping trip so unable to return, but I am very happy with this companies customer service and will order from them again. I was very happy with the quality of construction and with how the tent fit the bed of my 2016 RAM 1500 short box, but…I’m just now really using it for the first time. A few hours after setting it up, it began to rain for an hour or so. When I checked on my bedding, I found it to be soaked at the head and foot. The seller insisted in the description that it would be “water proof” without a fly cover. This is obviously not the case. Fortunately, the campground I’m in has a laundry facility where I could dry out my bedding. My $150 foam mattress is also soaked, though! From now on I will have to put a tarp over the tent which is not what I wanted to do. Very disappointed!! I’m a few hundred miles from home and am on an extended camping trip-otherwise I would return this for one with a fly cover!

We bought this tent for one night of camping in OBX. Set up was fairly quick and easy. Really there were no complaints to be had. THEN, it started to rain. The rain started sort, a drizzle or sprinkle if you will. Eventually, the rain became more of a downpour. At this point, we (my gf and I) were basically stuck in the tent as there was no where else for us to go. We hunkered down in there for a good 2 hours before we moved to the cab of the truck. We spent another hour and a half in the cab of the truck before we decided we couldn’t deal with all the rain and wind and thunder and lightning any longer… so we booked a room in the nearest hotel. This “nearest hotel” was 10 miles away but it was still absolutely pouring and the idea of taking down the tent was daunting to say the least. We made the executive decision that the tent would have to stay and we hoped for the best. We traveled down the empty beach road at 25 mph with roughly 20 mph winds and THE TENT HELD UP THE WHOLE TIME. While we did not get to actually experience a night of camping in this truck bed tent, I’d recommend it to any and everyone based on what it survived last night.

My review will be in 2 parts. Part 1 Initially I am giving this tent 3 stars on 9/21/22 because one of the rod anchor points wasn't sewed which caused the rod to go straight through. I was able to fix this problem with a safety pin. It's hold the rod nicely. Also found alot of material, like loose fibers of the tent. Not sure if it's from the tent itself. The tent looks good fully assembled. I will be testing it out next weekend but so far the durability isn't promising. We will see next week. Part 2. I am upgrading this product to 5 stars. I was able to fully test this product out for about 3 days and I'm glad to say it held up real nice. Even during some pretty hard wind gusts it stayed solid. Also upgrading this product for the awesome customer service I received. Great product and even better customer care.

Sadly it lasted one storm. Zipper broke off while open.

I have a 2018 Ram 1500 with the 5’7” ram box bed. Bought this for quick trips when we want to camp for one or two nights but don’t want to mess with the camper. I set it up today and, despite being an experienced tent camper, I struggled just a little bit my first time becasue the pole almost seemed like they were too long. After some adjusting I got it to work pretty well. It wasn’t a perfect fit, but I think it’s good for a ‘universal’ fit. The biggest thing I would consider is your bed cover, if you have one. You can see in my photos that I have a roll up aluminum cover. This caused two small issues. First, the roll is just barely covered by the tent flap. I could see water pooling here if it isn’t tight. Not a problem with the product, but something to consider before you buy. The second was that the locking mechanism on my cover has latches that stick out. I solved this issue by cutting some tennis balls to protect the tent from being cut by the brackets, but it still stretches the tent tight in these areas. Again, just something to consider on your own truck before you buy. Covers, tie downs, etc. The fit was not bad. Because of the ram box, I think it fit a little different than intended, but it still fit and I was able to put in an air mattress. It’s very roomy and I like the multiple storage pockets. I think I read some reviews about weak fabric and bent poles. I didn’t have those issues and I don’t see any difference in this tent than any other normal tent I’ve had. I have two concerns but I’ll have to use it and see how it works out. First, the bottom of the tent is just regular nylon like the walls. On a regular tent the floor is usually a tarp like material. I would have liked to see this just because if you have dirt, wood chips, rocks, etc in the bed of your truck, I could see holes getting worn or poked in the material. And my second concern was the zippers on the screens. The two side screens both had the zippers separated right out of the box. They corrected themselves when I zipped and then unzipped the screens. I’m just nervous that they may split with repeated use. We’ll see. After the initial setup I think it looks ok. We’re going on our first actual camping trip in two weeks and I’ll post an update.

Great quality. Reasonable price Quick delivery. Easy to assemble. This was a gift. Recipient was delighted and is looking forward to using it shortly. In the meantime he had no trouble assembling it and fitting it on his truck.

LOVE this tent. Have used it twice and it works so well. It rained one of the nights and did not leak on us at all. We have used both an air mattress and self inflating mattresses and find those work much better. Highly recommend. We used for a 2017 F150 5.5ft box and had plenty of room! Listened to another review of setting it up before putting on truck box and that worked well for us. Highly recommend!

Il est plus difficile pour moi de coucher au sol. J’ai trouver un bon compromis avec cette tente. Le montage est relativement facile. Je mesure 5’ et j’ai été capable de la monter moi même. J’ai mis un matelas coleman simple, ce qui m’a permis de bouger a l’intérieur. Le seul bémol, c’est la qualité des zip, je doute que ça va durer, je saurai vous le dire d’ici une couple d’utilisations. Overall satisfaite.

Took us 15 minutes to set up but it was actually really easy. Looks good. And for the price it’s a great buy.

Perfect fit on the truck. The tent is very easy to assemble and is colour coordinated for poles to holes.
