Cast Iron Laundry Sign, Door Plaques, Farmhouse Decor

I ordered 2signs because my laundry area has double doors. They were a perfect match to a pair of signs that said pantry that also has double doors.They are a perfect match even thought I bought one set in a gift shop in S.C. & the laundry signs with Amazon!I am thrilled!

This is heavy cast iron like your skillet. It is a bit thick. The screws are ugly, though. They’re probably zinc or anodized. They don’t match the vintage appeal of the sign. I suppose a little paint can fix that. My screw head broke off, though and now the screw is stuck in the cabinet. I am going to drill the holes all the way through and get screws with washers like on a bathroom drawer. I think it would work much better, due to the weight. The over all look is great. I needed something that would look country-homey and this sign fit the bill.

I bought the sign to put on the laundry room door of our Airbnb house. It is great quality and looks vintage Amos. It was exactly what I was looking for. We have had guest compliment this item.

I needed a sign for the laundry room door, because guests were always mistaking that closed laundry door for a powder room door, and they would wait outside, waiting for it to be vacated. 😆 I decided to make sure that wouldn’t happen again! And I love the simple, nostalgic style of this sign. It’s very sturdy, and it should last forever.My only complaint is that the screws included with the sign were too long for our flimsy single-paneled door. Even the shorter screws we used ended up being a little too long.
