They're beautiful!

I bought them to make chawanmushi, a Japanese custard dish my husband and I love. The design allows for steaming without water dripping into the chawanmushi. The cups make a beautiful presentation.

Gorgeous, but I wonder how well it will last when used. Seems like it is decorative more than useful. I doubt I'll cook with it.
