Yes it sits even with my bidet attachment. This seat is pretty nice. I have had it for a few months now and have had no problems with it and the bidet together.

Are these hinges universal? i mean do they fit every toilet produced and sold in the ussa?

I'm sure they will fit. We have ordered them and they fit my commode and my husbands.
