Padded Toilet Seat with Chrome Hinges, Soft Vinyl over Wood Core Seat, Made in USA, Round, White

I bought this seat in March of this year 2023. I love it. I bought it for my RV porcelain toilet. The seat is solid and the cushion is perfect. Since installation it has not lossened at all! The metal hinge has not allowed the seat to slide. It has stayed in place for 7 months. It looks great. The hole is a little small. But works. About 2 weeks ago the seat started splitting. I sent them an email for a warranty replacement a few days ago. The warranty is for 1 year when you purchase. They responded the next day. I sent pictures and proof of my purchase from Amazon. I received and email today letting me know that they are sending a replacement. It was an easy process and they responded quickly. I highly recommend buying this toilet seat. It is great quality and comfortable. The installation was easy. The metal hinges stay tight, never loosen, and it is easy to clean. The best padded toilet seat I found. Great value. And the price is great!

Impressed with the quality and overall mounting assembly. The mounting bolts are stainless, thread into the fixed toilet seat mounting tabs , and are held down with plastic nuts. The design allows for the seat to be securely tightened down and ease of cleaning. The only odd aspect is that the nuts are two piece, so once the nut has been tightened, the top portion breaks off. Just be careful that the ratchet doesn't hit the toilet once this happens. Other than that, the padded portion is nice with some firmness and the seat stays firmly in the up position, which other seats fail to do so. Have never had a padded seat split, but they have yellowed after a couple of years, so will see how this seat fairs. Considering the quality and the secure mounting, it's worth the extra money.

I love it!! It is made with quality materials you can just feel it. Its thick and soild while very comfy. Even the hardware was a little Surprising. I do recommend this to anyone who wants to set in comfort while "doing their business" 😊😆😂👍👍👍

Guys...padded toilet seats crack. It's just the name of the game. What this one has over others is that it doesn't shift when you sit down. Ever. It's very well made. I have waited until it cracked to make this review.... I bought this in October of 2024. It's now December. I noticed signs of possible cracking a couple of months ago but failed to remember the warranty was 1 year instead of the 3 that was somehow lodged in my memory. Unfortunately now I am outside of that period and both the left and right side of the toilet are cracked on the seat. It's not a huge deal and actually way better results with this seat than the one I originally bought for half the cost at Walmart. It would never stay in place and cracked in less than 2 months. Overall I have been very happy with this toilet seat. Installation was super easy and it has been very stable over the past year, not moving even a tiny bit. And it took about a year to notice that typical wear and tear from these types of seats. It doesn't matter. i'm going to buy another one because my bum isn't cold in the night when I sit on it which I have always preferred. Plus the cracks gross me out - who knows what creepy crawlies are hiding in there (ie bacteria) Keep in mind when buying this - these were my results. I live alone so I am virtually the only person using this consistently. Occasionally I have people here who might use it but it's fairly rare as I also have a toilet upstairs. I am a small woman also, not putting a ton of weight on this (150#) AND I'm only home i the evenings. Point is: it's been lightly used for 1 year. No heavy use by a whole family or heavy spouse etc.

I just installed our seat. It is very sturdy and very easy to install once I read instructions lol. I don’t think this seat will ever move. Time will tell how long vinyl will hold up. But love this seat for now give it 5 stars

I bought this because the chrome hinge implies a good quality seat. It is not. The hinge is as nice as it looks online - solid and shiny, but it uses the same plastic sleeve nuts underneath that the cheap seats do so you cannot tighten it down to get a solid hold. The foam padding on the top of the seat has been left in a hot warehouse for too long and has cooked - so it crackles when you sit on it like a handful of spaghetti being broken in two and doesn't spring back. The worst part is that the designer intended for there to be 4 pads on the base of the seat - two in the front, two in the rear ( get it? haha. Butt seriously... ) This seat lacks the two pads on the rear side so the seat slopes, but worse the angle means that the screws going through the ceramic are now bent. I worry that this may even cause the ceramic to crack for some people. This seems very dangerous to me - when ceramic cracks, the shards are exceptionally sharp and can slice you open. I didn't install it that way. I found two thick rubber grommets and silicon glued them into place to replace the missing pads so the seat stays level. I plan to return it, though. It's inadequate.

Sturdy cushioned toilet seat. Heavy good quality material. Does not move around when on the seat. A keeper.

This is a pretty good toilet seat. Comfortable and warm in the winter. I bought two in May 2024. Easy install. It is not soft closing and will make a racket if dropped in the middle of the night. Our first one lasted about a year and a half and then the seat began to split. That is not comfortable to sit on. We changed toilets in one of our bathrooms and I pirated that seat for the split one. The second one’s hinge just broke at the two year mark. Don’t get fooled by the metal hinge. It may be metal but the hinge pin is plastic. The hinge sheared as my picture shows. For the price though I am happy with what we bought and it is American made.

Good quality , easy installation & true measurement But feel not really padded

0 stars. Should have trusted the 1 star reviews. The foam is pointless as it compresses to nothing. So hard to sit on. Save your money

After less than 3 months of use the plastic on the soft seat split open, making it impossible to use. £45 pounds thrown in the bin!

I recently moved into a seniors, Retirement Residence. I usually like to purchase a new toilet seat when I move into a new residence. Since I am disabled and elderly, I decided to purchase a toilet seat that would be more comfortable for me. I did a lot of searching on Amazon and read loads of reviews on different seats. When I came across the Mayfair Padded Toilet Seat, the reviews were quite positive. I was a little concerned about getting it, because I do have a cat, and she likes to jump up on the toilet seat and watch me while I’m doing my hair in the morning. So I was concerned that her claws may puncture the seat even though I do keep them clipped on a regular basis. However, after much thought, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Mayfair Padded toilet seat and give it a try. It was a great choice. I absolutely love this toilet seat and I am really happy that I purchased it. It was easy to install. It is very comfortable to sit on, and is showing no signs of wear and tear from either me or my kitty. It’s easy to clean. You just need to wipe it down with a gentle cleaner. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the old wooden toilet seats again. I’m very happy with my purchase, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Mayfair Padded toilet seat to anyone.
