Yes, the No. BK92 Pocket Pens contain a pressurized metal cartridge in them that is designed to not explode in hot conditions and it will also allow you to use it in cold temperatures as well, down to -30F without freezing. Thank you for your question!

Does it write on regular paper or deer harvest tags? Or do you need to use the rite in the rain paper?

I use it on regular paper in a Field Notes pocket notebook with no problem. I bought it for the pocket size. It seems to write like a normal ball point pen.

Are the rite in the rain fde92 pens refillable?

Hi Ray, thank you for your question. We currently don't carry refills for the pocket pens unfortunately. If you're looking for a refillable option, we do carry a Metal Bullet Pen that's around the same size that uses our All-Weather Pressurized Cartridges. Does this pen take pokka only refills or can you use the rite in the rain pressurized refills?
