Old school sound
I was looking for a bass guitar sound closer to that of a double bass. After trying lots of tone variations on both guitar and amplifier I hadn't really hit the 'sweet spot' . A friend recommended I try these strings and he was spot on. The bass sound is as close as you could get in sound to a bull fiddle with the bonus of tape wound, long lasting strings that are much kinder on your fingers.

Simply The Best
Iv been using rotosound on my fretless for over 20 years until a friend convinced me to try La Bella. I am now totally converted. They have a very rich deep sound but also nice top end, which helps on my tired old fretboard. The finish and feel to them are superb,my fretboard is worn and buzzy in places so usually when i put new strings on it sounds worse but because these are so smooth the buzz is now a 'fretless growl' and a lot easier to control notation. 10 stars for Labella and thank you for giving new life to an old instrument.

Beautiful strings, best quality ever used. They sound BRILLANT!
The "E" string was short, NOT for a through -body stringing, & that was disappointing, as specified when purchasing "STRING THROUGH BODY"

Superb strings, commit to flats and spend the dosh!
Ideal with my Japanese Fender Precision Bass. Superb tension - possibly a little more rigid feeling than Chromes or Fender’s flats. Really great tone - a little more top end than I was expecting initially. They are playing in beautifully too. Had compliments on the tone from a couple of engineers too. They’re the most I’ve ever spent on strings, but they’re most definitely worth it if you are into flatwounds and want a set that will last you forever.

Geat strings.
These strings sound really good on my Hofner Contemporary bass. I've been trying to recreate a genuine 1960s sound in my band and these flatwounds do the job nicely.
