These aluminium speaker spikes are decently large (34mm length) and have a lovely sharp spike which is finished in brass. It's always subjective how much difference cones make but I definitely prefer to run my speakers (and my record deck!) on spikes to reduce vibration. The only hesitation I have is that I have no idea who fits speaker cones singly, so I would have expected them to be packaged (and priced, of course) as a set of eight.

I needed some shorter feet for a pair of subwoofers after rearranging the lounge. The antique pair of chairs we wanted to sit over them have a bar going across at the back and this was sitting on top of the sub. Nobody could sit on the chair without causing damage. Replaced the oversized plastic original feet with these arrowheads and got two benefits: good clearance from the chair, but even better the sharp spikes go through to the concrete below. It is stable where before it sat on carpet and would move if wobbled. Just don't try to drag the subs across anything as these spikes are sharp!

I ordered these as the spikes that came with the floor standing speakers I recently bought were too short to penetrate the thick carpet and underlay. Very impressed with the quality of these, good clean threads and nice sharp points too. The speakers are now in position and quite rigid in place. Highly recommended!

I used them on a corrugated roof as the old ones were loose and would fasten properly - needs a 7mm hex driver to install them

Short stem so I couldn't get a locking nut on

Didn't fit my Tannoy M3 floor speakers - as the thread doesn't go all the way to the top of the screw, there is a blank shoulder. This meant that they wouldn't fit any of the inserts on my speaker. Initially I thought it might have been the insert, but I tested two other sets of M6 spikes and they worked in all the inserts. Offering these up to the speakers, they just lock after 1-2 turns, so it looks like they are just badly made. None of the rest of my screws have a blank area at the top of the screw, so this seems to be a machining issue, so returning.

Ich habe meine Standlautsprecher umgebaut und brauchte für die vorderen Ausleger schöne schwarze M6 Spikes. Diese Alu-Spikes sind sehr schön und hochwertig und haben einen M6 Zapfen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Dans le libellé il est précisé la présence de 4 coupelles de découplage... Alors qu'il y en a pas une seule !
