Love it! I use it to freeze cream, chicken broth, etc. portions for recipes. Everything pops out cleanly. Love that these are safe for freezer use.

I know this seems pricey for an ice tray, but in my opinion it's totally worth it. One of the ice "cubes" keeps my morning coffee iced until mid-afternoon when I finish it. It's also just convenient to pop one cube in the cup rather than fishing around for pebble ice when you're running late. The mold is easy to clean and the edges are fairly rigid so it's not collapsing on the way from the sink to the freezer. I plan to buy another one to add to the rotation because naturally these take a bit longer to freeze than smaller cubes. Very happy with this product!

I ordered 2 Collins molds and thought they were amazing! The ice released from the mold with ease. Barely any sticking. So I ordered 2 more molds and they both make ice that stick to the mold. Definitely gotta peel the bottom layer off the ice. Besides that, these molds seem to make ice with less "film" than other silicone molds (if you know what I'm talking about). These molds also make ice with less "odor" than the other silicone molds I have. The molds have a solid outer edge that's very sturdy, but the rest of the mold (and lid) are flimsy, as thin silicone tends to be. The lids DON'T make the ice makers spill proof. They must be handled carefully or you will spill. Very easy to spill. Easy to stack. Easy to use A little expensive, but I only purchased them because they, supposedly, are safer than many other silicone molds on the market. (They have a higher standard/rating) Cubes are ABOUT 1.25"x1.25"x4 25"

Silicone is great because it allows you to flex the tray to easily remove the ice. The bad thing is the flex in other molds make the water fall out when carrying the tray to the freezer. They remedied this by adding the metal frame inside. The other bad thing about silicone is the off flavors that start to develop. You have to periodically put the mold in the oven at 350° for at least an hour to get rid of the smells/flavors in your ice.

By far these are THE BEST ice trays on the market. All the others, and I've tried a lot of them, are useless! This item comes with a lid, fills easily, the cubes are a large size perfect for smoothie drinks (after blended) and removes easily. I'm bummed I wasted money on all the other cheaper silicone trays I bought. Yes, these cost a few dollars more than the inferior trays but are far better all the way around. I plan to buy more. Perfect

These are great and very stable. I bought these to replace older slab ice cube trays that were much flimsier. Because of the lid these are more stable and much easier to use.

Overall it’s a decent ice tray- I wish that there was a channel that allowed the cubes to be filled evenly, but my biggest complaint is that the ice tastes like hose water. If you haven’t had hose water- it’s like a rubber chemical taste. I can’t seem to get rid of it. The first time it was noticeable, the second and third time not so much, but now I can’t seem to get rid of it.

These long ice blocks are great for drink bottles as well as tall drinks. The silicon means they are easy to get out and the firmer sides makes them easy to carry and stack.

Good ice, nice tray and useful lid. Everything is very good quality - perfect for water bottles. Only reason its 4 stars is because it doesn't make 'perfect' rectangles (some are wider and have curved edges) and it took a while to arrive

The solid frame holds the trays shape until the water can turn to ice and the cube don't bow out in the middle. As a bonus, the rigidity of the frame also makes it easier to push the cubes out as well.

Who knew there was such a difference between the regular ice cube trays that come with your freezer and these silicon ones. 100% recommend. My mom loved them so much when visiting that she asked for them as her birthday present!
