Worked great!
I used this to paint a vintage bubblegum machine that was the classic vibrant red color. It only took one bottle of Testors glossy black paint to cover. I ordered a second bottle for touch ups in the future. Very satisfied.

works well, good consistency
This black enamel paint worked well for me. I needed just a small amount for touch-up of the lettering that is engraved in the movement of an American pocket watch. The old paint comes out of the lettering when the watch is serviced and cleaned. I brushed this Testors black enamel paint over the lettering, let it sit for about 20 seconds, and then wiped it off with some denatured alcohol. The black paint stayed down in the engraving making it look brand new. Since it is enamel it should hold up for awhile.

Good paint, expensive for the quantity, but works well.
Same Testor's black paint I've been using since I was a teenager. Works exactly as you would expect. I gave this four stars, not because of any product issues, but because it's ridiculous to pay this much money for such a small amount of paint. Of course - everything is expensive today, but still . . . .

Nice Product
I have a SubZero refrigerator with a recessed groove along the handle's vertical length. I tried too vigorously to clean it out because it collects debris and in the process, the black paint in the recessed groove came off. So I took a chance and bought this paint and after blocking off the edges with painter's tape, I used a paint brush with just a few hairs and was able to reach the recessed groove with a minimum of fuss and apply one coat. It looks great and so far (two weeks), after a few general clean ups with a damp cloth, the paint is intact. My guess is that I can repeat the process if need be, but so far so good!

Handy for repairs
I have an old bass guitar that took a chip out of it's black gloss finish. This gloss black Testors paint was just the ticket to make the chip invisible from anyplace over 5 feet away! Simple solution that was appropriate to the old instrument

Excellent Quality Paint - Sad to See Testors Go The Way of the Dinosaur
Testors (and Humbrol by the way) paint has been discontinued due to EPA rules on some chemical. Get it while you can.
