RealTruck BAK Revolver X4s Hard Rolling Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | 80330 | Fits 2017-2026 Ford F-250/350 Super Duty 6' 10" Bed (81.9")

This is my 3rd BAK Revolver X4S on my 3rd Ford F-250 8’ Bed. After researching every other product on the market, I keep coming back to BAK. Their products are extremely well designed and install easily. Their product adds safety, security and beauty to your beloved truck! I was able to install it myself in about 45 minutes and it lined up and fit perfectly. No permanent holes needed for the Revolver X4S, and it can be removed later very easily and quickly (although I have never had a reason to remove it because it rolls up and is kept in place by straps that are provided. You do not lose any area in the bed because it rolls up on top. This is a huge benefit to people like me that use their trucks for work, constantly going into Home Depot or Lowe’s and don’t want to get ripped off. My prior experience is that they are not 100% water tight, however, they do keep your tools dry! One additional huge benefit is that you can install a Adarac ladder or sport rack without interfering with the operation of either.

We have a BAK cover on our 6 foot bed that is solid panels, and we have this BAK revolver on our 8 foot bed. When you get to the last panel its pretty hard to lift it all the way open. if we had solid panels on an 8 ft bed we would probably need to leave the last two panels down as it would be too heavy to lift. This rolling system doesn't gain much weight since you are actually rolling it. I like the rolling much better than the flat panels. IT is critical you install it perfectly due to how the locking rail works, but once you have it installed it works great. I've had it about 6-7 months now and zero problems. Just wish it were about half the cost ($600 would be better than the $1,200 I paid although as of Jan 2024 it seems to be $1,100. Overall I would buy it again.

This review was written 1 Year after purchasing the cover. Initially, we were really pleased with the product. It was easy to use, worked well, was very secure. If this review had been written immediately after installation, a really high rating would have been given. Now, 1 year after installation, I would give this product no stars. We have had to re-engineer the cover in order to get it to work. Screws were added to ensure that the back cap and seals worked. We discovered that the cover did not roll up easily when it is cold. As we live in the north, this makes using the bed in the winter (even without ice or snow) very frustrating. We discovered that the glue used on the side rails is not heat rated so the end separates from the cover. Again, we live it the north, so it does not get that hot, but it is a black cover and still gets really hot. For $1500, you would expect a product that last more than a year without falling apart. Even when we get a warranty replacement, it will probably only last a year again and then what, we spend more money. Take my advice and do not buy this cover. It is a piece of junk and a waste of money. Buy anything else.

Fits great holds up well no leaks seals easy to install and very durable against the Texas weather.

First let me say at this point, the cover is exactly what I expected and good quality. The company on the other hand is ridiculous. I finished installing the cover and the width of my truck is a little too much for the width of the cover and it will not set right on the track on both sides. This normal due to manufacturing variances, no big deal. In the manual, it says if this is an issue to call customer service and they will send out some shims to correct this. I called customer service and they promised to FedEx some shims right away and I should have them in 3-5 days. Why would these shims not be included in the box? They are little pieces of rubber and their cost is negligible considering the $12-$1300 price tag of the cover. I got notification from FedEx that it shipped 7 days after I made the call and it took another 4 days to get here. This is just bad business, get your act together. I have been unable to use the cover for two weeks because you are too cheap to include a $2 part for something you're making a $1k profit on. Absolutely ridiculous. I will avoid this manufacturer/seller in the future. My advice would be to call them and request the shims as soon as you order the cover to help offset your wait time whether you will need them or not.

I bought this product to be installed on my 2024 F350 Lariat 8FT Bed. It was an easy installation all the tools needed is a 9/16 wrench and a box cutter. From un boxing to installation it took me about an hour or just a little bit an hour. The manual that came with this product is clear on the direction on how to install the this product. Over all its a great product and it looks good. I will update this review in a few months to see how it holds but for not I am giving it full marks on installation and product.

Great fit and finish on my 2024 F-250 6.75’ bed. Rolls smoothly, seals well, and looks factory. Heavy-duty and exactly what I wanted. Only complaint: Box was crushed and the cover has a visible scratch/gouge along the top rail near the tailgate from shipping. Already installed, so I’m keeping it — damage is cosmetic only from the inside for the most part. Little bump on the outside that I think I notice because I know it’s there.

Great cover. Fit was perfect and easy to use. Looks great on the truck and is extremely water tight

Instructions are OK and easy to follow. Definitely need 2 people to install. The bolts holding the roll-up cover near the cab are too far and leave a gap open. Also, the locking mechanism doesn’t hold the cover properly and allows thief to lift the sides. The product is not packed properly for shipping causing damages: - The roll-up cover was bent during transport causing the 1st hinge not to cooperate and lay flat as it should. (See picture). - One of the side rails was bent at both ends when I received it, but I have been able to make it straight for installation. I will work with the manufacturer and hope to improve the installation. So far, I’m not impressed compared to my other 7 tonneau cover I owned over the years.
