Goes something like this: - "Would you like some tea?" - "Sure, what flavors or kinds do you have?" - "Well, probably just about anything you can imagine. What flavor would most PLEASE you right now?" And we almost always have exactly what they requested... from any kind of black, green, white, herbal, or special blends like ginger, chais and ginseng. So now... we have yet another flavor: BRITISH BREAKFAST! Serving it up to one guest almost always results in someone else smelling that LOVELY aroma and saying, "Would you mind if I, too, had a cup of that!?" It's THAT GOOD! And of course, the full line of REPUBLIC OF TEA teas have those wonderful feeling cans, filled with those lovely little round pillows of flavorful delight and aromatic deliciousness. Ok, I'll quit before someone accuses me of being a shill for the company or something... I'm not... I'm just a HUGE FAN of how well-made the TEAS (and the PACKAGING are!!) The burst of flavor and energy opening the cap; the satisfying feeling of certainty when you place the cap back on and feel it seal so well, knowing that tea will remain FRESH. I love everything about these teas.

My wife and I love this tea! We try to sit down and have a cuppa in the afternoon whenever we can. This is our go to tea for the pot. Perfect blend that makes a rich tasting brew. Even though it's breakfast tea we enjoy it in the afternoon!

Love this product! Best in the market. Can't deny the quality. My husband who is half British thoroughly enjoys it. Only drawback is that it is not organic.

I always assumed a quality tea would taste a little better than the standard grocery store brands but I did not realize how huge the difference was! Just the smell tells you how much better it is. No bitterness at all. I will never drink the big mass market brands again.

I gurst had this tea in England visiting my granddaughter and her husband. The English know how to make great tea. Was happy to find on Amazon

Tea aroma and taste is wonderful. Disappointed that tin is not screen printed, just paper wrapped.

I used The Republic of Tea’s British Breakfast Tea to brew kombucha, and it turned out fantastic. The flavor fermented beautifully, and the tea bags are natural and compostable, which is a nice bonus. For a gallon, I used six tea bags, one cup of sugar, and a bit of starter from my previous batch. After letting it set for a week or two, the kombucha tasted amazing. The caffeine level is just right—not too strong, but enough to give a nice boost. The packaging is also excellent and looks good. If you’re into making kombucha, this tea is a great choice!

Makes for a great gift. Loved the taste and the packaging of this British Black Tea.
