Unfortunately I am a mouth breather and when using my CPAP my mouth severely dries out. My dental hygienist also told me that the dryness overnight from the CPAP with my mouth breathing is very poor for my gum health. Thus I use these Xyimelts and they work very well. I have experimented with using one or two and they adhere super well to my front teeth and keep my mouth moist thereby promoting good gum health.

This is a GREAT products for many reasons and for many uses! I am a retired dental hygienist. We have recommended dry-mouth products for years! I rarely had to use them until I developed dry mouth while sleeping. They have a pleasant taste, there is no smell and they do not have sugar! I am SO PLEASED with how well this product works! Rather than using a rinse or toothpaste, these tablets will actually adhere to the cheeks, or the roof of the mouth, so that they are essentially "time released" while you sleep. They dissolve slowly and because they adhere to the tissue you won't swallow or choke on them! NOT TO MENTION that they take care of dry mouth for the entire night! I use 2 each night when I am going to sleep. I have also used them when I have gotten an ulcer in my mouth (canker sore). I just put the adhering part of the tablet (the darker side) against the sore until it is stuck on there. It prevents exposing the sore to air and food - yes, you can eat with them stuck in the mouth! They don't last as long when you're eating, but they protect the sore area! Oracoat XyliMelts are honestly one of the best products that I have discovered!! THEY ARE MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY!!

These are really helpful for dry mouth, but can sometimes hurt your gums peeling off! Sometimes left marks in mouth. Very effective and high quality ingredients Longevity is not as long as they list. Very expensive but worth it if you need

These are a game changer if you have dry mouth. I sleep very safely with these stuck on each side of my top molars. They don’t move, and keep my mouth from drying out. They taste great too. Sometimes I use them in the day time as well.

These work well. I occasionally forget to apply one before going to bed. When I do, I really notice it when I wake up. Don't drink water during the night after applying the tablet unless you intend to apply another one. The slightly sweet flavor is virtually unnoticeable and pleasant. I experimented with different locations on my teeth until I found where the tablet was most comfortable.

I have been suffering with dry mouth for the past decade, and always woke up with a mouth as dry as a desert. My dental health suffered for it, and my dentist recommended this product. These are a fabulous product! I have been using them for years. As a CPAP patient, dry mouth during the night is a big issue. Xylimelts solves this completely. Each tablet has a concave side. After you moisten them in your mouth you stick the concave side onto your gums below your teeth, or inside of your cheek. There they stay firmly in place and slowly melt, keeping your mouth perfectly moist all night. My magic bullet is one on each side of my lower jaw and one stuck to the roof of my mouth. They last all night. Xylimelts come in several flavors. Slightly sweet is my favorite, because the mint is a little too strong for me. I cannot live without this product! My daughter does not have a CPAP machine but suffers with sinus congestion. She uses these every night to combat dry mouth associated with mouth breathing during sleep. PRO TIP: once you have them firmly in place, do not try to move them. They are solidly glued down and you can cause irritation by prying them up.
