Got these Govee LED strip lights (the 100ft version) for my kid’s room and they’ve been awesome so far. The lights are super bright and the colors really pop. They love the music sync feature — it actually reacts to whatever music is playing, which turns their room into a little party. Setup was really simple. Just peel the backing and stick it where you want it. Took maybe 20 minutes to get it all up. The app is easy to use too — you can pick different colors or scenes, and my kid figured it out pretty quickly. Honestly, for the price, these lights are a great way to make a room more fun. Plus, they seem safe and well-made, which matters when they’re going in a kid’s space. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to add some color and fun without a ton of hassle.

Okay, story time: (synopsis at end) I am renovating a shed that has a loft. There was termite damage so the pull down ladder is no more. I use a broken ladder that is hard to open and it’s hard to balance on. I wanted a light that I could access from the bottom to see in the upper storage section and also hang clothes up there and be able to see them. I also have a door that swings the wrong direction and so I have to step inside and trip over things to get to the light switch on the other side. I wanted to find a light that would help me see that I could access from the door as soon as I open it. This met both of my needs AND MORE. I can turn on the lights as I’m walking through the yard, they stretched across the ceiling and I was able to apply them so I can see the hanging/closet area and where I will store tool and other items. They can link with music, you can use the app to control the brightness, play nature sounds through the app and have a light show (such as lightning) and you can customize your favorite colors and choose how warm or cool you want the white lights to be. It’s great for nights when my anxiety is bad and I don’t want to be in the dark for hours. I absolutely love them, they work perfectly for me, I did hang them a little crooked but it’s hard navigating a loft area with boxes and tools all spread out. The cord was long enough as well to where I could stick it low enough to control manually and still plug it in from the top. I was careful not to bend or cut them or touch them to any metal (like the nails along my ceiling or holding down the plywood on the loft “floor”. Also, there is a portion where a bit is hanging (nothing I could do about that as this is an odd build) but I left the paper on the parts that aren’t stuck to the ceiling or loft siding. My advice is to just be careful and read the instructions and reviews, but they do as they say and are great- thanks Govee! TLDR (Too long didn’t read): Work great for a loft in a back shed, can turn on from the yard and walk in to light and see storage area. Length is great, lots of coverage, variety of colors and adheres well. 10/10 recommend.

When I first got the LED lights, I turned them on and tested if they work (they do!). I started putting them on my wall and around the rims of the floor and wall, but (keep reading) when I tried to turn it on it didn't work and I started freaking out. Turns out I had to hurt their feelings and go through a hell of anger just to find out that I wasn't pressing the button hard enough. PLEASE IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, SMASH THE BUTTON IN UNTIL IT TURNS ON. Also found out that the lights won't connect to Bluetooth unless you've powered them on manually and from there you can turn them on and off from your phone. Enough with the chaos, The lights were amazing. The brightness is on point and easy to adjust. There are pre-made scenes and the performance is just immaculate. The app is easy to use and not hard to manage. These led lights have scenes like "Movie" which you can turn on when watching a movie or they have "sleep" which is my personal favorite along with "sweet" which is a slow pulsing pink. Get these led lights!! ill submit a video later:)) update- it won let me upload a video but i dont think you need one hence my review.

Just make sure you wipe down the surface really good I did it twice. Before you try and stick the lights. It's a very excellent product. You just have to follow the instructions

Perfect... Can't ask for more. The music mode is very responsive. Govee is unbelievable.

The led light strip works very well, also easy to install. One thing I learned was with this strain of light if you do have extra you can't cut it as of customer service so what ever people say in comments don't cut it highly recommend one thing is foes not come with remote, but easy to set up and use with phone

Filthy quality

It’s just as other LED strips. Does not have my special feature like the other upgraded models. Music mode has very basic feature while the other govee models has upgraded music feature with lots of options. Expensive for this limited features.
