Does the job

Works great but it a little thick.

This is a great zinc oxide sunscreen. Have tried many over the years and glad to find Coppertone Sport Mineral SPF 50. Some of my observations based on other reviews: The bottle I received was full of sunscreen up to the word Coppertone near the top where expiration date is. After 8 uses on face and neck area there is still product up to the word Mineral on the front. The expiration date was 1/2025. It will be used up long before that. This sunscreen does take a few extra minutes to rub in as most zinc oxide versions do. But after taking the extra few minutes I have not experienced any white cast left showing on my fair to medium skin tone. This may vary for others though. It is a bit chalky/sticky (actually hard to describe the texture) but again, this is common to zinc oxide products. It is a bit runny coming out of the bottle so it's best not to turn the bottle completely upside down. Just tilt it so the sunscreen will come out in your hand or on your fingers. I like that there is basically no scent. So far it's working very well for me. Haven't used it while swimming yet but mainly during outdoor activities and it hasn't seemed to sweat off quickly. I'd say 80 minutes is a good estimate of how long it would last if you don't towel off or wipe off areas where it has been applied. Best bet is to take the bottle along with you so you are prepared if you need to reapply. Overall I'm very happy with this product after trying so many other zinc oxide types (no longer wish to use the chemical sunscreens if I can avoid it). I am posting a photo of back panel as there was a question about ingredients. I had to look on another website to find this information before ordering so hopefully the photo will be helpful.

I've used this Coppertone Zinc Oxide sunscreen in the past and I highly recommend it. It contains no toxic products or additives like other sunscreens - only zinc oxide, which is not known to cause any health related problems in humans. It goes on easily and offers great sun protection for 4-5 hours. Some people complain it may leave a white residue on the skin but that should not be a problem if rubbed in thoroughly. The price on Amazon is good compared to it's online competitors.

The best part about this item is that it doesn’t get runny when left in a hot car. It will leave white stains that do come out so you need to be a little careful.

I specifically bought this for my face as an alternative to the chemical-based Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen I had been using. As I stated, the biggest positive for me is that it's matte, not greasy, so it didn't migrate and sting my eyes (a big problem for me with most sunscreens).However, no matter how long I waited, post-application I could still detect a white residue, making me look like a vampire in need of sustenance - even after applying my regular shade of foundation, blush, powder, etc. over top. Also, I noticed a distinct and lasting odor when I used it on my arms and legs. Not horribly unpleasant, but definitely there.Still on the fence about this product. May keep it in the car for my hands as I live in a very sunny climate.

Great sunscreen though it stays white on the skin.
