These Lovespoons are made form Lime Wood obtained from Monmouthshire in Wales. The individual piece is pressed out by machine using a template and then carved, sanded and polished by the craftsman. The twists and turns and detail in the spoon takes a lot of work by skilled craftsmen. They are varnished and polished but not always to a shiny finish, some are muted which lends appeal to the actual spoon.Sizes vary so that they can be placed in a favourite spot or kept in a personal place as they represent sentiment and emotion.
