Understanding Hospital Billing and Coding

I was looking for detail on hospital revenue codes. It did give lots of good information (in general) for hospitals. It just didn't get into specifics regarding codes for Part A.

I thought this was an excellent overview of hospital billing and coding. I enjoyed it.

I bought the book to learn more about prospective payment systems (inpatient and outpatient). I cannot believe that the publisher does not provide answers to the exercises. How am I supposed to know if my answers are correct or wrong? This book is not suitable for self-study.

I just finished a health information technology associates program and I can tell you that this book provides an excellent overview of hospital billing in an understandable way. I think this book ties everything together. Although it is not technical in nature, as far as going into coding training in depth, it does provide a well-thought out organized presentation of the whole process of the patient encounter. Highly recommend this book!

This book is over priced for its content. Had bought a similar book that cost me Less "MedicalBilling 101" and learned more. This book didn't help me at all
