Fixing the ECO is a lot less expensive than replacing it
The ECO 24 heater elements and triacs have a lifespan. It's good to keep a set of each (all 3). Re-plumbing a new unit is costly and labor intensive, but changing triacs and elements will work just as well...if you have the strength, take precautions, and aren't afraid to attempt it.
