What type of fastener is it and can it be adjusted easily? Does it need to be done at a jewellers?

It's a "claw clip" type, two little claws latch onto a bar, then the fastener snaps closed. It's very easy to use, neat and flat when shut. I have three watches with this type of fastener, I believe they are widely used. I didn't need to adjust the length as I am quite big boned, however I gather it's straight forward for people to do themselves and instructions are provided.

How do you change the battery please

It's an automatic watch, so therefore doesn't need a battery. Just normal wearing keeps it working.if it stops because of not being worn turn the winder 20 or so times and it should start working.
