I pierced both of my tragus' with the needles. They are so sharp, I couldn't even feel the needle go through the tissue. The piercing needles are great, I just wish they had bigger gauges for the 14 gauge rings. You have to use a 14 gauge for a 16 gauge ring. Give the piercing more room while it swells and heals, you also can't fit a 16 gauge piercing in a 16 gauge needle. The clamps are flimsy, but I didn't expect much out of them. Still did the job. Everything turned out really well, I'm happy with my purchase.

This set has everything you need to start piercing clients or self. It covers almost all piercings that are normal requests from clients. The only piercings you would not be able to accomplish are large male genital piercings such as Prince Albert piercings and or tongues. Ears, nipples, noses, hoods, and lips can easily be accomplished with this set though.

First off I was very frustrated because no where on this products page does it say what comes with it and how much of what. I didn't know what I was getting and what sizes. Then that one review of the guy saying his jewelry got rusted really bothered me. Despite all that, I'm so glad I took the risk! The metal feels very trustworthy and high quality, I'm very pleased with that! The shipping was incredibly fast, four days! I spent hours looking over all that came with it and sizing them all and counting everything. I wanted to make sure that I would put the details that weren't on the product description so no one else feels that frustration. Remember, you could get a different selection than I did, for all I know they give you random pieces. As a piercer I am delighted with all this new inventory and I'm very relieved to have all these different sizes for different locations! One problem that I got was with the captive ball rings, it's difficult to pop the ball out and extremely difficult to get the ball back in, you will need pliers to resize the horse shoe portion. Another problem, on some of the pieces I had a lot of trouble trying to screw some of the balls off, they can sometimes be on quite tight. Some I just couldn't get off. But take into consideration that I'm a petite sophomore girl, my hands aren't all that rough and tough in the first place. My dad got all of the balls off that I couldn't with no problem. If you feel your hands are strong then don't worry about this! And then the last problem I ran into, on some of the round labrets the screw portion on the bar is much longer than needed and you can still see some of the screw design even when the ball is screwed on. This can potentially damage a healed fistula (piercing tunnel) and cause more pain than needed on a healing Labret. I will use these pieces as last resort. This really is an amazing deal and I'm so fortunate I took the chance! The forceps that came are not the septum ones shown but that's okay, you should be buying actual metal ones anyway if you're serious about piercings! If these clamps don't work for you you can use paperclips or bullfrog clips. I also got 25 various retainers, in various gauges as well but I can't identify gauges. It also came with 25 16g needles and 25 14g needles, all expire in 2020 and were sterilized and packed this year, 2015. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because of the frustration that happened because the product description did not specify what I would be receiving. So between jewelry and retainers it was 145 pieces, with needles it was 195 pieces, then adding the two alcohol prep pads and forceps, 198 pieces(: much more than expected!

Fiancé didn’t want a professional to my nipples. So bought this kit and did both of them the same day by myself. Needles came sterilized in their own package I was a bit weary about the plastic vice grips but they worked great. My only complaint I guess would be that there isn’t something to go on the end of the needle for pushing it in. I just used locking pliers to hold the needle and the other hand kept the clamp in place. I would recommend this kit. Oh and friendly reminder refrain from the pretty piercings at first. Use the bar bells until you hit the 9 month to a year mark. 👍🏻

I bought this to pierce my nipples. Sole purpose. Worked really well! Clamps worked well, basically had everything needed to do the piercings. The needles were very sharp and worked well. I am very prone to infection and so far I have had no issues with infection or even bleeding. Very please and would definitely purchase again if I needed to!

Some of the 16 gadge a magnet will stick to. But other then that grate very great vaule for your money. I'm very pleased and will be buying agin. Took a fu extra days for it to get here but it's not there fault they mailed it on time.

After sterilization, I put the jewelry into a solution to maintain sterility and a few have started to rust. I now have to re-sterilize the entire batch and find a dry storage system. Rust means they are not true pure surgical steel. However, I am wearing one as my brow ring and it has not changed nor caused a reaction on me. Note that the piercing it is in has been healed for several years. The ones I used in my wife's new lobe piercings are also in good/acceptable condition. One side pierced clean and healed perfectly within two weeks, the other had an issue hasn't quite finished healing, but it was crossing double scar tissue. No infections have occurred. I don't believe the issue is due to metal quality. Just be wary if using for new professional piercings.

I love this piercing kit, has all the needles and gauge sizes you need for everytype of piercing. Come with different types of jewelry as well. Sadly the clamps are plastic but they still work amazing. Great if you dont wanna pay for a piercer

Practical starting kit, wish the clamps were metal and sterilizable but still a good place to start

It’s probably not best to pierce yourself, get a professional to do it for you. But the jewelry itself is fairly decent
