I spent most of my life thinking that scissors were dull. It took me too long to figure out that I actually needed left handed scissors. These work. I bought them to cut hair.

It's so hard to find true left handed scissors that aren't either shears or for kids. Finally, we now have a sleeker alternative to the red fiskars scissors! These are hella sharp, and the joint is nice and tight, but still allows for easy movement. The blades are sharp all the way to the tips. So far they've cut everything I've tried, including fabric, paper, and thread, although I haven't put them through the abuse one of my pairs of fiskars has been through. I wouldn't expect to have trouble with very thin non ferrous sheet metal, but I've not tried that or wire yet. Now the bad: -if you've got big hands, these are not for you. Small to medium diameter fingers should fit just fine, tho. -not for extended cutting jobs. Your fingers will go numb and be sore. But that's also just the nature of the grip design, every pair I've seen with this kind of grip (two equal sized finger holes, roundish) does that, even my favorite pair that I've had since I was a kid. I will say, the length has proved more awkward than expected. They're a bit short for more serious tasks, but too long for like, sewing scissors. Still, if you're looking for a nice pair of multipurpose scissors, you could do much, much, worse. I have no regrets about my purchase.

Would have given a 5 Star rating if it had English language instructions.

These are not true left-handed scissors. Handles OK but blades are not left-hand and don't work for left-handed cutting. I was disappointed.

Perfect for when my son visits.

左利き用特大ハサミを探して、これにたどり着いた人は多いのではないでしょうか？あまり選択肢無いし。 にも関わらずレビューゼロだったので左利き同士諸君のために私が書きます。 ・切れ味は事務用なら標準以上で、コクヨのSAXAに一歩劣るくらいのレベル。100均とか無名のメーカーよりは明らかに切れやすい。 ・刃渡り95mmという圧倒的巨大刃で事務作業が非常に捗る。これだけで買う価値がある。(重さは94g) ・グリップは同社の中サイズハサミ 指2本タイプよりは持ちやすいが、長時間使うと手が疲れやすい。(かつてはPP樹脂だったが、エストラマー樹脂にモデルチェンジして柔らかくなり改善) ・緑のラバー部分は接着されていないので、外すことが可能。(このシリーズで緑なのは左利き用だけ！) ・本体は5年ほど使用しても特にガタツキは発生しなかった。接続部分はおそらくパンチング方式なので、万が一緩くなったらハンマーで叩けば閉まるだろう。 ・ただのステンレスなので、針金など切れば多少刃こぼれする。TRUSCO製品などが登場する過酷な作業現場で耐えうるほどの頑丈さではないが、刃の形状がシンプルなので自分で研ぐことは容易。 ・リピート購入したが、日本製なだけあって品質が均一で信頼できる。 ・刃先が尖っているため子供に使わせる際は注意。 総じて、事務用途であれば充分活躍できる性能。 左利き用・長い刃渡り・高品質・丁度よい値段と必要な要素を兼ね備えている。 左利きでこれ以上の性能を求めると高級な裁ちばさみや工具系になってくるので、値段に対していい塩梅だと思う。 余談だがこの製品、過去に少数生産されたあとすぐ廃盤になり、最近になって再販されたのが現在のモデルらしい。 これ以上選択肢が減ると悲しいので、在庫が無くならないことを祈る。

左利き用のハサミで使いやすいものは少ないのでありがたい。強いて言えば、右利き用のように色がシンプルな物もあれば、さらに嬉しかったです。

2日前に「長谷川刃物 はさみ 事務用 剣先 左手用 ブルー ESR-175L」を購入しました。「左利き用」が良かったので、もうひとつ購入しました。 切れ具合はどちらも遜色ありません。とても良く切れます。指を入れる穴が「長谷川刃物」のほうが大きいので、指が太い人はそちらが良いかもしれません。 レビューで「切れない」と言う方が居られますが、信じられません。とても良く切れます。 と、以前レビューしたのですが･･･。 ４～５ヶ月経過したら、刃と刃の隙間が広がり、切れ味が激悪になりました。 しばらくは、我慢して比較的マシな先端部分のみを使って切っていましたが、どうにもならず本日 思い切って「要ネジ」部分を金槌で叩き、〆ました。結果、「切れ味」が良くなりました。

旦那の為に購入。 安定の品質。 右利きの私も、右腕に巻いた包帯を切ったり、左でしか切れない状況の時に使いますが、ちゃんと切れます。 今回はたまたま緑で探していたからいいのですが、左用の黒も欲しい。
