I purchased the 12-inch bamboo skewers for shish kabobs on the grill, and they worked great! The length is perfect for BBQ, giving plenty of room for meat and vegetables. The skewers are sturdy, easy to use, and held up well during grilling. Great value for the price and exactly what I needed.

My big chain grocery store hides these, hanging in a random location from a clip on a random shelf. I gave up looking after trying on a few separate occasions. Come neatly packaged in a paperboard box - handy for storing if you only want some of the 200 in the pack at a time. I keep mine in a tall jar for grabbing them quickly. I don't use them for skewers. I use them for the amazing and tall sandwiches I make. The small picks just aren't tall enough -- I feel too anxious I'll accidentally bite one because I can't see it clearly. Also, have I mentioned my sandwiches are tall? After, I break them and put them into the compost bin. Sturdy for sure - quality is fine for sandwiches. Sometimes I use one to prop up a new plant growing on the window sill.

These are 12 inches, I did not notice this when I ordered, and they are thick-which would be good if using for skewers. I had wanted to use these for my wax melt flowers, made them work but please read.

Helped to make a beautiful bouquet...thickness good, size right, good grip, not too sharp.

These skewers are so good to have on hand as they make testing your baking is done so easy and they are great to use as a mixer and to seal parcels for the oven etc. Very useful little tool to add to your kitchen staples.
