Q: Do these have the updated/corrected rules? (A red card can be played on a player as soon as they play a green, does not require a purple card, etc)

I am the designer of the game - YOU CAN PLAY RED CARDS ON A PLAYER AT ANYTIME AFTER THAT PLAYER HAS PLAYED A GREEN CARD. This rule is meant to allow all players a chance to gain some points before they have a Red card played on them. The rules are a little confusing on this since the rules also mention Purple cards. The rule about Purple cards is a mistake. That said, you can change the rules to whatever suits you the best. I am just trying to say my original intention for the rule.

Q: what age is this game Mr Toast aimed at?

7 and up. Played it mostly with adults for game night and everyone loved it. Children under six had a hard time reading and understanding the cards.

Q: Is this only to be played with 2 people? We are very confused by the instructions and cannot figure this game out

It is best with 4 players. Read the directions on the side that tells you what the different colored cards represent. Be sure to read each card before you play it. It will take at least one whole game before you figure out what’s going on!! After you get that far, it’s a lot of fun.

Q: What if you have any red oe green cards in your hand to play, do you keep drawing cards until you get something to play? At one point I had 15 cards..

You are only allowed a max number if cards in your hand. I think nine. You should still be able to use some of the blue cards without red ir green. Reverse direction for example or dumpster dive or last piece of pie. You only draw one card at the beginning of each turn.
