Yes peanut oil is edible. Cold pressed oils are much healthier than heat pressed.

I didn't taste Hexane and I warm it with food. If there is Hexane then warming may vaprize the hexane because it's boiling point is apparently 69oC. This is lower than alcohol.

Yes, there is an expiration date on the bottle--however, it will be different for each purchase depending upon when you buy it. For example, I bought mine a couple of months ago and it has an August 2023 expiration date on it. Since I have no idea when it was bottled, I can't tell you how long a shelf life it has but I expect it is around 2 years. It does not need to be refrigerated although you could do that to prolong the shelf life. Keeping it in a cool, dark place (like a pantry or cellar) would also help. As with any oil, it will eventually go rancid (especially after opening it) no matter what, but it will do so much faster in a bright, hot space than a cool dark one.
