Exceptional Value!
After recently residing my house, I needed a block of this material to seal the gas line's service entrance. Although the gap was small enough to seal with a bead of caulk, this stuff is easier and less messy to apply with the same result. Product Quality: It's tough to determine this type of material's quality visually although I've used this material and brand before and it's an excellent, moldable, non-hardening sealant. Product Use: Fresh from the delivery truck in 30 degree weather, the block was stiff, but still moldable. It became increasingly malleable with the rise in indoors temperature, reaching clay-like moldability. Although this material is sticky, it leaves no sticky residue on either hands or applied surfaces. Final Thoughts: If you need to seal the wire or pipe poking through your wall to the great outdoors, this is the stuff to use. It's less messy than caulk, arguably longer lasting, and there's considerably less waste material. Since it's non-hardening, it should last if stored properly. And it's a third of the cost on Amazon as at the big box store! I bought second block "just in case."

Perfect consistency
Perfect consistency. Doesn't stick to your hands but sticks well on PVC pipe going through junction box and sump pump well wall. Easy to roll and press to form fit.

Absolutely as described
This is a unique product. It works well to seal up holes in electrical boxes with wire passing through. Easy to knead and shape. Not sticky to the hands but stays in place very well. Too soon to tell but seems like it will stay pliable and not harden. Bottom line a great product for sealing up those holes in the wall through out the house where plumbing or wire passes through.

Seals and prevents mice entry around RV, hot water heater and furnace covers
Great product for ceiling around plumbing fixtures, without permanently, bonding them, good for ceiling around RV, furnace and hot water heater cover to prevent mouse entry. Will be using this where mice have eroded RV ceiling ductwork to restore, efficiency and cleanliness.

Good for air and water sealing
In greater Chicago area houses have to have conduit inside the walls. This unfortunately can cause condensation inside the pipe if a run supplies bathroom and then travels into an unconditioned space. This condensation happens to land on both my garage door opener receptacles causing gcfi to trip. Ended up stuffing the inside of conduit to make sure no airflow occurs and it seems to have worked.

Much better than spray foam for small gaps!
"I used this to seal around the electrical conduit where it enters my house, and it was so easy to work with. It’s like a soft modeling clay that stays pliable, so you can really pack it into gaps to stop drafts and bugs. Unlike spray foam, it’s not messy and you can actually remove or adjust it later if you need to. Great price for a very effective product!"

I had high hopes but product doesnt dry hard enough
Product appeared old and was sticky on my hand skin. Finally, after shaping product and leaving it several days to dry, I found product to have hardened, but not hard enough. I could reshape product and it wasn’t a good seal-used around the sides of ducted diffuser. Back to the drawing board. Or, next time you cut your floorboards to install a diffuser for the ducting heating, make sure you know how to use a hacksaw. Try to cut diffuser housing spot-on or you’ll be forced to search for sealants that perform lower tham expected.
