Disney Princess Elena of Avalor Adventure Dress Doll

I purchased this Disney Elena of Avalor Doll for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. She really liked it. It's not quite as fancy as some of the more pricey ones but for the price I was very please with the quality. The package included doll, red and white dress, belt, hair-clip, scepter, bracelet, pair of shoes, and pair of earrings. She stands approx 11.5" tall and fits in all of my daughters "Barbie" things i.e. Jeep, Car, Camper and House. Her feet are the same size as your standard Barbie so she can interchange shoes with other Barbie shoes and the same goes for Barbie clothes. Her legs are made of a hard plastic and do not bend. She also has faux panties. The dress is a Ruby Red leaning toward hot pink color and made of a thin satin type material. The facial features of the doll are nice. Elena has brown eyes and long silky black hair. The torso of the toll is nude in color and doesn't feature a plastic body suit under the dress as some dolls do.Overall, this is a great doll for the price which is less than the other Elena dolls. It's geared more towards an item for children to play with than for a collectors item. The dress is thin however the accessories make up for the thin material dress. I feel like this is the perfect doll to get if you know your child is going to be playing with it. For me the price was the selling point because I was purchasing several dolls for Christmas and I knew they would be more for play than collecting this one was priced just right and the quality isn't bad at all for the price I paid.

This doll is so adorable. The quality is great, she looks just like the princess, and her dress is made to perfection. Her shoes, wand, and hair clip are also all well made. Her hair is silky and smooth and my daughter is so happy with this doll that she is even sleeping with her tonight. I am so glad I got her this one, it is the best quality doll for such an affordable price I have seen.

I ordered for a grandniece who lives in Finland. Was a little disappointed with the quality but it was okay. Then I went to Disney Store and bought another one. Better quality.

New in box but packaging was not appropriate for the item and so the box was squished. It’s fine for my purposes as it is for a birthday cake, but it was otherwise not giftable condition. Also, Amazon is suggesting that I mention “thickness” in this doll review... I haven’t taken her out of the box, but I assume she is sufficiently thick, whatever that is supposed to mean.

My daughter is just getting into Disney Princesses and knowing I have to buy as many as possible, I want to be able to find the best deal. This was one of the better deals I could find for Elena. Not many attachments but that's fine as she is 3 years old. The doll is a great size. The dress on the doll does not seem cheap and won't rip over time. The wand is supposed to stay on the hand but does come off easily. Easy to lose but I'm sure that is the least the child's concern. The shoes are not annoyingly loose to the point they come right off. Overall this is a great purchase if your little one loves Elena!

This doll is made with hard plastic, except for the head. Her knees or elbows don't bend, but the limbs move. The dress is not stitched completely,but merely tacked at the bottom front of the dress where the white meets the red material. The edges of the ruffles are not hemmed, but everything else is stitched well. She is a nice doll for the price. My daughter loves playing with her because it's an Elena doll. She doesn't care about the quality. She just likes that it's a doll that looks like her.

The packaging on one was punctured through the plastic which is a hard plastic. So I think everything that got possibly packed with it smashed it. Other than that the dolls are so cute. Didn't get ruined themselves. So that's a good thing.

These were great! I was able to pick up a few to have on hand at Christmas for toy drives and or for extra birthday gifts for girls in my daughter's class as they pop up. The item was under a special promotion and so picked up a few for less than 6 bucks each. Ridiculous great price for disney dolls!!!
