18 but as a parent buying for your child depending on how well you teach them the rights and wrongs of weapons and they understand the importance of that then I don't see why our kids couldn't have one at the same young age we were when we got our first BB gun at 10to12 but, like I said law is 18 to buy one but under parental supervision your child could handle one easily
