I have been using this product for over two years. It is so easy to use.

Well to start off I've read the reviews and the ones that complain about the string NOT feeding, the problem is usually fixed if 1. You change out the original line that came in the head, it has a tendency to not want to feed. 2. MAKE sure that you have the string installed correctly for the direction that your shaft spins, CW OR CCW or it won't feed. The others who are complaining about the hex portion melting. This is usually caused by not using the correct spacers or a bad shaft bearing causing the nut and shaft to get extremely HOT which will melt the hex. Now if you ask why I have any qualifications to comment on this product here's my background. I own a Lawn Service and use these heads on 5 of my Stihl fs94r trimmers day in and day out. I bought 30 heads last year and approximately $2,000.00 worth of string. We go through about 15 to 20 rolls a week. So in closing these are the BEST heads and the LONGEST LASTING string I have used in the 15 yrs I've been in business.

Stay away. Not right size for my trimmer and didn’t realize it was non returnable.

Edit: My original poor review (below) was the result of installing the head and spool incorrectly- My best advise is to pay attention to the head rotation, and install the spool accordingly- It works pretty well, and it's definitely easier to change out the trimmer line than on a conventional trimmer head- I was hopeful, even a little excited, because of the great reviews- Now, I don't understand what the hype is about- The installation was easy- From there, it went down hill- The trimmer line doesn't last 3 feet of trimming- So, it didn't take long to discover bump feed does not work on the one I received either- Fortunately, it will be easy to switch back to the old head still lying in my workshop- Unfortunately, there is "no returns" even for a defective unit- That's not right!

I have 12 acres of fence line. We have weeds in FL that eat small animals for lunch. This is one tough cutter. I had an occasion when I was getting ready to purchase to check to see if it would fit a straight shaft Hitachi model to reach out to customer support and they were top notch. Quick to respond, ready to help, and an accurate answer. This unit holds a limited amount of string but refills are quite cost effective. Of the 4 different cutter heads I have tried this is the best. Great job Oregon Cutting helping to keep my fence lines clean and my weeds whacked.

I like it. It fit my echo just fine once I figured out how it went on. The instructions had a lot of pictures but were confusing. That's the one con. It worked great at trimming and will be much easier to reload with string that the Echo head. Well worth the money. I just hope it catches on so that the replacement string will be available from now on.

Not that much better than a lesser priced head. It is hard to get the line to feed and you have to tap (hit it) really hard. The line is no better than other brands and cuts about the same amount of weeds. Having an easy to insert ready wound spool is nice but you pay a lot extra for the convenience.

ok just got it tonight. used #2 nut to get it on the echo SRM-210 trimmer. simple to install. instruction was bit confusing without any wording. just pictures. it worked out. i'll test it out tomorrow to see how it cuts. DO NOT get #24-200 for echo trimmer. update: works great. the line seems to last longer. give it 5 star.

First!!!...Make sure you double check your Model Number of your Weed Eater, there are different sizes but the search query seems to pass this step. Assembly, fairly easy,(Unless you have the wrong size!!) Operation: First use was excellent but there seems to be a slight problem with the feed of the trimmer cord, no matter how many times I beat it the cord would not feed out but was able to pull it out by hand, this was not how it was designed to work.

I really love the speed of the change but also the line seems to be heat resistant in the coil form and that is what I was chasing. Photo after 2 months..

These are really hard to find in the UK - must be import duty from America that has made the supply dry up. A friendly helpful customer service call provided help with the size required. Prompt delivery.
