Ok so the awful dilemma- over-priced tardy Apple or other battery replacement at a store or diy? Which battery to choose and from whom? After a few years of using my trusty iPhone 8 Plus and aghast at upgrade prices for a newer model my battery had reached the end of the road. Struggling with backup chargers at airports and skimming close to zero power multiple times during the day I decided to buy this battery from LL battery. Tips: double check your iPhone model number in settings- get the right battery. Review multiple YouTube instructions- some leave important bits out- such as use a hairdryer carefully to soften adhesive. I recommend using 2 suckers (1 front;1back) to pull screen gently away from back at lower part of phone (just above fingerprint button). Also, be very careful when removing screws- each one is very different- take a picture and use sticky tape on a table to copy the orientation of each screw when removed. Look at the side of the screwdrivers with this pack- the dimensions are written down. You need each of the 3 screwdrivers to remove all the screws at certain points. To remove adhesive from old battery you may find that it is difficult to fully remove. Use hairdryer again gingerly to heat up the adhesive in your opened phone at that point. DO NOT puncture the old battery with anything- you may start a fire or see a puff of smoke. Slow and steady- plan this for a 4 hour operation. It should take less than 45min if you do it right. Light the area carefully and you should have no problem! And, of course, I recommend backing up everything you can both on the iCloud and also (as I did) a second old iPhone (7 plus) so you have peace of mind. If in doubt- get a professional to do it instead! Happy replacing! This item restored my phone perfectly to nice stable long power periods and it is an upgrade with good safety features ( cheaper batteries may wreck your phone!).

Too early to determine the long term battery life, but it fitted as planned, gives indicated 100% battery capacity. Secret to getting old battery out is use heat from hairdryer to soften glue

easy to fit if you’ve got the confidence to take your phone apart yourself . battery performance of seems to be great . Everything you need is in the kit quite happy so far with the performance . would recommend .

The battery would not charge. Original battery replaced, as a test, and that took a charge, so a faulty battery supplied.

Battery failed after 1 month installed, worked ok initially but then recently the phone informed me the phone was u able to determine battery life - phone then did not charge and continually powered down. Poor Quality product

I swapped it over and initially it drained itself extremely quickly and thought it was faulty! However that was the phone recalibrating itself and it's been extremely good so far. Lasts a whole day from the same usage as before with the old battery.

Great replacement battery for my phone. Very easy to install after watching a few YouTube videos and battery life seems to be as it should. Would recommend if you don’t want to take your phone to a repair shop.
