San Jamar Paper Towel Dispenser with Lever, Manual Storage Solution for Bathroom and Kitchen, 16.5" x 12.94" x 9.25", 1 Count, Black Pearl

Installation was easy, works as expected. Ladies are happy with new dispenser design, easy lever operation. No threading of new roll required. Just lift feed bar, place end of paper on roller, drop feed bar, and press lever a couple of times. Paper self threads.

This new version is having an improved mechanism over previous ones. Easy to install and work pretty fine!

Note: Previously I asked the question will it work and dispense towels when lying flat on its back. It's for temp. use in our kitchen. It works fine like this. We do not want to put it on the backsplash to the countertop. Hopefully it will be a temp. item in our kitchen during these times when paper towels on grocery store shelves are less than the demand. We have had much difficulty acquiring Bounty Brawny, etc paper towel and have had to switch to the 1 ply industrial towels that this dispenser takes. It does the job just fine and looks okay in the kitchen. The towels it dispenses are about 8' wide as opposed to regular 11" grocery store towels. The towels I ordered on Amazon to use it are cheaper than the grocery store. They are as soft as you get at the store, but are one ply, so you have to use more towels to clean up a mess. The rolls that go in this dispenser are 600' long, the grocery store towels are in rolls of about 80' These huge 8" diameter industrial rolls of paper towels are not easy to use without a proper dispenser.

It served its purpose but the paper towel rolls I purchased as per the company’s suggestion fit inside the holder but they are so large or heavy that it tends to get stuck in the feeder so that it doesn’t feed smoothly until the paper towel roll is about 25% used; then it feeds fine. Knowing this I use the roll outside the holder for a while until it’s down to about 75% left and then I place it in the holder. Will have to see if I can find rolls with a smaller diameter of paper.
