These are better than sets I ordered previously, but the power supply still gets really hot. Is that normal? Delivery was a day late.

The remote doesn't work

Now this is amazing! Not only is this string a snap to set up, but the remote control and waterproofing coating really add a lot of versatility.Now the power converter was fairly straightforward to set up as the hardest part was connecting a row of pins into an adapter - but even that was a snap.I took a piece of clear tape and did a once over in order to secure the pins to the connection adapter, but that was just because I wanted to make it "set."As for the remote I removed the protective battery sleeve insert and clicked it on. I was pleased to find that it worked right off the bat! The connectivity and response time was very quick and I was able to tweak the colors and brightness in real time.Speaking of, the fact that everything from the colors, rate of change, and even the brightness is modifiable. I am thoroughly impressed by this and really adds a lot of value for me. While I typically run a slow hue shifting RGB scale, I am also quite fond of the faded dim purple tone.In the end I am very happy with thisRGB LED color strip as the remote control allows for extensive customization. However do note that I received this light strip at a reduced price for evaluative purposes. Despite this fact, l aim to evaluate equally at its full price point. Additionally, all words and added media in my evaluation solely reflect my own opinion and experience.
