This eyecup can turn 360 degree to give you a comfortable fit, and it fits you eyes very comfortable blocking out external light.

Easy to install if you can read the tiny instructions. I searched online and found more readable ones and the job was easy. The trick is that you have to close the shutter on the eyepiece in order to unscrew the existing eyecup. It does work with my glasses on, but works better without them.

Perfect fit. Comfortable. Very similar to a product I use on a D7200 but designed to fit the D500, D800 and similar frames.

You get what you pay for. Mine came with the lens all scratched up and foggy. To the trash can!

The description says "especially for eyeglass users" but it's not. It's too small. It's better than the original on the Nikon D810 but a better one is the Hoodman which is larger and softer rubber making it easier to press up against it. This does work well for non eyeglass users. The Hoodman is about double the price though.

You won't find a better large eyeglasses cup, or just really good large shooting eyecup. I know cuz I've gone through 20, to find this one. A. It comes with the Nikon Accurare flanged extended screw in mount, with the metal tension c ring to boot! B. It's attached via a raised lip and fit eyecup, so it spins easy, but does not fall off. C. It folds fwd completely with no interference, Im finally pumped about my eye piece!! Its merely a bonus it's a 1/3, an OEM style part that's nearly 1/2" smaller, and it's soft. It holds shape for viewings, but it doesn't pull my glasses off when I move back. It's picture is receiving, it's BIG, I use it on a D4, and though I use a field monitor for filming I use a loupe on the D4, I can just flip this up, vs unscrewing even a DK-19, it's a 5, star 100%!

I recently purchased a used Nikon D500, and was not happy with the original eyepiece. All of my other cameras have some sort of eyecup, so I searched about on Amazon and decided to get this one. It was easy to install and works perfectly.
