I grow quite a few veggies and herbs in my basement, and use these labels for the potted plants and for labeling pots planted with seeds. For pots planted with seeds, I write the plant species on one side and the date I planted the seeds on the other side. When I transplant the seedlings into their own pots, I use these labels to keep this information with each plant. This has been so very useful in knowing the age of the plants and how long they live. For example, I have a tub of kale that was planted in October of 2018, so these kale plants are almost 4 years old and still producing.One thing I like about these labels is that they are reusable. You can use the supplied pen, but Sharpie fine point markers also work very well. To reuse the labels, you can clean them with either alcohol or a Brillo soap pad. Since these labels are so inexpensive, I don't always take the time to clean them, but sometimes I do. I also like that they are wide enough to write two-line labels on them. This leaves plenty of label length to be stuck in the soil and still see the entire written label. I also very much like that the written label does not wash off with watering. In the case of my kale, the label has lasted almost 4 years so far.I would definitely recommend these labels as they are reusable, long enough they don't get lost in the pot, and the width does not get in the way of lower leaves on plants. Even on larger spreading plants, the labels don't get lost.I hope this review was helpful for you.

The media could not be loaded. I am a brand new gardener. I bought these on April 8 after realizing that the twelve or so labels that came with my seed box weren’t nearly enough. I wanted something reasonably priced that would last me all season. I didn’t want cheap cardboard that would melt under the spring floods or cheap ink that would wash away after frequent watering.When these first arrived I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they are made of sturdy plastic. I have had no issues with them bending or dissolving. Furthermore, the pen that is provided is working great. After two months, these labels have survived in great condition through two weeks of straight rain, three days of flash flooding, and frequent over-watering by a novice who has no idea what she is doing and just wants delicious green things to grow so she can eat them. Honestly, they look brand new.I would highly recommend. I find the bright white endures with no discoloring and makes the label easy to find among bush vibrant plant leaves.Pictures provided show these labels compared to the labels that came with my seed box. The seed box labels did not survive the last two months and as of today have been replaced with these Homenote labels. The remaining photos (and video) show how discrete yet easy to see and read the labels are from a distance. There is also a photo of the new labels I just wrote with the old labels (the French bean is an old label, the chives are new as of just now). Plenty of room to write long plant descriptions on them and still have room to stick them in the dirt. 5/5. Very satisfied customer.

I love these , I got green , red and yellow bell peppers so I put a green , red or yellow marker by them , and I use the pink and blue for other plants , vegetables and flowers, and it came with a marker , that's great 👍 so much better than the paper markers I was cutting , these are strong and don't wilt like paper/cardboard 😀 I will be marking all my garden vegetables

Perfect for labeling seed starts to plant outside in the spring or throughout the season. Thin material makes it easy to slide into soil or along the edge of starter pots. Taller than others I've used which makes them easier to read. Good product.

They were just the right size for labeling the flats and pots, with what you have growing in them.

I kept having these tags wash off with other markers. Reviews of this product said this pen actually works so I gave it a try, and it absolutely does work properly. I have had tags out in the sun and torrential Minnesota rain this year and they look good as new. I will use this till it runs out, then order it again.
