Dove Men+Care Body and Face Wash Extra Fresh 18 oz for Dry Skin Effectively Washes Away Bacteria While Nourishing Your Skin (3 pack)

I've been using this product for a long while before I decided to pick some up on Amazon. The three pack is a good deal for $16, but I think maybe I could have gotten three for a wee bit cheaper at a department store. But for the convenience, it's not a bad price. This soap doesn't lather like other men's soaps do, so you may end up using a lot more than you usually do, and the hole for dispensing is significantly smaller. Although it doesn't lather well, it spreads evenly very easily. So the fact is, you probably don't need a lot. I just choose to put a good portion in. Also, in my opinion, this in one of the better smelling ones. It's a bit more manly scented than some of their other scents, but I also like extra fresh and deep clean. It's hard to say which one I like better, but if there's one thing I really like, it's the fresh clean shampoo that goes with this. I only say that because they're both green, and usually the labels match. I'll be using Dove Men + Care for the rest of my life, probably. I just wish they made a standalone conditioner, which is another reason I prefer fresh clean shampoo as it is both a shampoo and a conditioner.

I have been using this Dove product for a long time and really like it. However, the bottles I received here were not the same product. The soap seemed like it was watered down to the point where I can't even hold it in my hand. I basically got half the soap I paid for. Not super happy about that. Not worth saving a few bucks vs getting the real thing at cvs, target, etc.

This is a pretty good body wash. The amount is more than most body wash containers and the price was affordable. The liquid is pretty thick, smells nice and cleans and refreshes my skin like any other body wash. As for it spilling out quickly (as some other reviewers have wrote about), I didn't really have a problem with that. I have bought this specific size/brand before at grocery/pharmacy stores and thought those spilled out quickly as well. So I didn't really notice a difference. I think the quick spilling at first has more to do with the weight and amount of liquid in the container, rather than it being diluted. As I continued to use the body was and the amount lessened the liquid spills out much slower. The ones that I bought (shipped and sold from Amazon) works just like any other body wash. I also love getting it shipped to my house so I don't have to make a trip to the grocery store just for body wash. I will buy this again when I run out, and may even try different scents/formulas.

It's definitely a bang for your buck. With this pack, you're getting quality and quantity. The extra fresh scent is a nice touch, and it leaves you feeling clean and invigorated. It's become a cost-effective solution that doesn't compromise on performance.

UPDATED 9/8/2012:::::::: No longer fake solution being used. Real thick solution now::::::::Read below original comment. The 3 pack of Dove for Men Liquid Soap was opened already and was far more liquidy then the store bought brand. Normally this soap is much thicker, but the soap available on Amazon seems to have a thinner viscosity(like someone added water to it). It's like someone took 1-2 bottles and added water to them to make them fit into 3 bottles. The 3 pack I received had Skotch clear tape holding the lids on and I believe if this wasn't on the thin formula that Amazon provides of this Soap would more than likely leak out if this wasn't done. This soap isn't cheap and the 3 pack sounds like a deal, but when you get it you'll realize why. By buying it on Amazon you save some money, but your getting screwed since the soap is not the original Dove for Men formula, but instead a much more watered down version of this soap. A real disappointment! :::::UPDATE::: After running out of the water downed Dove for Men 3 pack I had, I decided to give Amazon one more try. Since a year has passed and the price is amazing, I figured I'd see if the solution was still a problem and I can gladly say it's now the real thing. The Dove for Men solution they are now using is the same thick solution you can find in stores. Thanks for fixing this Amazon.

I paid for a 3pk. There was only 1 bottle sent. The way this transaction transpired is horrible business. The package was about a week late, too. It is very inconveniencing. This one was a Bad buying experience.

I don't have finicky skin. This is a good thing for me. I can use anyone's product, bars of soap, harsh cleansers etc. I could probably wash in propane with no ill effects (jk). Having said that I really liked this soap. I like liquid soaps because of their portability and ease of use (sucked having a bar of soap in residence- could have really used this back in the day!). This one I like even better than most competitors (and I have tried most) because rather leaving a squeaky clean feeling (ie the feeling that too much natural oil has been removed and your skin will probably compensate by producing... more oil...) this leaves you feeling moisturized. I like that. Is it moisturized like in the sense of what your girlfriends legs feel like after she's vaselined them? No... not moisturized to that extent but healthy feeling. That's about it. Fragrance is light and agreeable etc. Recommended.

I really like the Dove Men+Care line, especially the body wash, but wanted to save a couple bucks so bought on here. Big mistake! After running out of my last (store-bought) bottle, I opened this one up. It had a slightly different texture - not watery or runny, but definitely less thick than my old bottle. Just for fun I called the Dove customer line, gave them the code from the bottle, and learned that the shampoo had expired 4 months before I had even placed my order. (Not that the company makes it easy to tell by just printing the date in a standard format on the bottle.) Unfortunately, by this time it was past the return date, but hopefully this review will save others from making the same mistake.

Good product

This product was nothing like the same product I usually buy in the store - it was watery with thick globs in it. Don't buy this product from this retailer.
