This set has everything you need to create your own dungeon layouts. Fantastic selection of paints and accessories. The hot wire cutter is so easy to use and within an hour I’d created quite a few pieces of dungeon terrain.I was using the goblin caves from the Lost Mine of Phandelver as a plan and it couldn’t have been easier.Army painter paints are included and as usual these were superb.I’ll definitely be looking at picking up some more products from this range.

Would love to be able to give this set 5 stars and it came really close, but the hot wire cutter let it down. As value for money I can not fault this as you get all you need or as a famous advert said it does exactly what it says on the box. The only thing that let this set down was the hotwire cutter which did it's job but the wire was so loose I found myself more sawing than hotwire cutting with it. I will accept this may be down to my inexperience using the tool, but I expected more also there are no instructions for it's use and although a simple tool some instruction would be helpful.Other than my minor niggle with the cutter I can not fault the value you are getting here and would recommend it to anyone wanting an all in scenery set. I will be frank I got it on offer at 1/2 price so am even more than happy as at full price it is still good value. As others have said you can get extra XPS sheets cheaper elsewhere when you want more but for this quality set I say go for it and have fun.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to learn, I went for a slight change to the suggested acid/ lava pool to make the terrain modular and cared four different scenarios. See video. When on half price offer at £40 it is really good value but since the paint runs out quite fast I think the full price is a bit steep. Great gift tho for a budding RPGer or Wargamer.

This was one of those purchases that felt like the price was a bit steep but when I looked at the separate components the price made sense.I am sure you could get the foam boards for less (or at least less per meter price) but finding the XPS that is "just right" is hard to do on amazon even when you are not new.

About a year ago myself and a bunch of friends got back into D & D and have been playing it ever since. Through lockdown we've been playing online via Fantasty Grounds but we are keen to get back around the table soon.This set came for review at the ideal time as I am to build some tiles that we can play on and this has everything you need.It comes with a whole bunch of paints, from base primers and base colours to a range of different colours for detail. It also comes with sand for terrain detailing. You also get brushes to go with it.Alongside these you get a bunch of foam bases, some large ones and some smaller ones and you get the cutting tools needed to sculpt and shape and also the glue needed to fix it all together.What I really like about this is the flexibility. There is enough in here to create landscapes for all kinds of games. My son is already looking to use some for some warhammer 40K terrain.A very good set for those looking to get some good terrain on the desktop.[edit] I've completed my first terrain build with this one for some WH40K Eldar and have added the pictures. This kit really is a fantastic way to get started with terrain creation.

Ist mein aller erster Dry-Brush Versuch und in Kombination mit den Erklärvideos einfach perfekt.Habe Tiles für meine DnD Kampagne benötigt und dieses Set hat mehr als abgeliefert.Ein besseres Pinsel-Set habe ich mir eigenständig dazu gekauft, aber ansonsten eine absolute Kaufempfehlung

Alles dabei, aber leider war die Packung mit den Steinen kaputt und alles war in der Schachtel verteilt aber konnte alles wieder zurück schütten, ansonsten sehr zufrieden

Habe das Set im Angebot gekauft und bin rundum zufrieden.Auch gleich mal den Guide befolgt und selbst eine kleine Szenerie erstellt.Inhalt ist top und sehr umfangreich.5 Sterne, ein Muss für Tabletopler

Das Gamemaster Dungeons & Caverns Core Set wurde mir im Rahmen des Amazon-Vine-Programms zum Testen angeboten, dieses Angebot habe ich gerne angenommen und gleich bestellt.Das Set nun ist zum Erbauen jeglicher Spielszenarien gedacht, ob nun eine Dungeon und Dragon-Kulisse, eine Sci-Fi-Wargaming-Schlacht auf einem fremden Planeten, eine Belagerung aus einem fantastischen Universum oder eine schaurige Drachenhöhle. Ich würde mal direkt behaupten, man kann dieses Set ebenso gut auch zum Bau von Modelbahnkulissen benutzen, ja und wenn man die Farben einfach wegnimmt und durch Mädchenfarben ersetzt, dann kann man sogar für Barbie und Co basteln.Im Set sind enthalten: Schaumblatten, der passende Schneider dazu, quasi ein heißer Draht. Pinsel, Farben, Grundierung, Cutter, Lineal, eine Mischpalette und noch einiges mehr. Natürlich noch eine Anleitung, damit auch vermittelt werden kann, was für was verwendet werden sollte.Ich finde das Set an sich wirklich gut, es gibt hier auch verschiedene Sets, welche aber eher den "dunklen Mächten" zugetan sind. Aber wie schon geschrieben mit etwas Fantasie und anderen Farben lässt sich aus diesem Set gerade gestalten was man will und mag.Ich finde vor allem den "heißen Draht" echt gut, so kann man auch vorhandenen Schaumstoff viel besser schneiden. Meine Versuche mit einem Cutter sind meistens doch gescheitert, dies geht mit diesem Draht deutlich besser und einfacher.Von uns eine Weiterempfehlung.

Hier bekommt man mal richtig was für sein Geld geboten. Es sind jede Menge Farben (kleine Farben, Primer, Grundfarben) mit dabei und dazu gibt es auch noch passenderweise das richtige Werkzeug (Pinsel, Palette, heißer Draht, Lineal, Schleifpapier, Messer) und Zubehör (Bodenkiesel, Gras, Kleber). Dazu gibt es auch noch eine kleine Anleitung (wie erstelle ich meinen ersten Dungeon) und jede Menge Styroporplatten (2 Große und 8 kleine).Somit sollte jeder, der sich ernsthaft damit auseinandersetzt, in der Lage sein seine ersten kleineren Spielflächen selbst zu gestalten. Und auch ansonsten ist hier wirklich mehr als genug Material enthalten, um jede Menge Spaß damit zu haben (man muss ja nicht unbedingt einen Dungeon daraus bauen).Ich finde dies ist eine wirklich gelungene Starterbox für alle die etwas suchen, um mit dem Hobby zu beginnen.
