I bought the Salav one because it had better reviews but it was horrible. It splattered water on my garments and would continue to pause frequently. Now this steamer is perfect. Worked beautifully for my silk clothes. Perfect soft steam, adjustable. Easy to set up and use, felt truly professional!

I purchased the Rowenta Pro Style Care Garment Steamer (IS8440) in February 2024, expecting a premium product from a reputed brand. Initially, it worked well, but within 10 months, it completely stopped generating steam. Despite following all care instructions and using it sparingly, the steamer failed prematurely. For a product at this price point, I expected durability and reliability, but this was a letdown. To make matters worse, finding support or replacement options has been frustrating. I cannot recommend this steamer to anyone who values longevity in their purchases. Very disappointed with Rowenta.

We used the Rowenta Pro Style Care steamer maybe 15–20 times over the span of two years, and today I opened it up to investigate a problem. What I found was shocking: the heating element compartment, which should stay dry, is completely corroded and covered in mineral buildup and rust. The wires are oxidized, screws rusted, and there's a clear sign of water ingress where it shouldn’t be. This steamer wasn’t heavily used and was always emptied and stored properly. Given how little we used it, the internal damage suggests a manufacturing defect — likely a leak that let steam or water into the sealed electrical section. For a premium brand like Rowenta, this is unacceptable. A device meant to handle steam shouldn't fail this catastrophically after such minimal use. If you're looking for something that lasts, I can't recommend this model. Good quality for what steamers do

Es una buena plancha si es que no sabes usar una convencional. La verdad es sencilla de usar y las prendas quedan bien. Hay que rwcalcar que el vapor elimina olores, incluso el del suavizante, lo cual puede ser un pro o un contra, dependiendo de cada quién. Lo malo es que no viene con el soporte plegable para que la ropa quede estable y sea más sencillo planchar, no tener que estar sosteniendo la prenda. Ocupa un espcio considerable, no la considero muy fácil de guardar; pero si te sonra espacio, te agradará lo sencillo que hace el planchado.
