Luxstone X30 review
I was sent the X30 in return for giving a full review on this light. The video is too long as Amazon only allows up to 10 minutes so I am writing a review here and attaching pictures. The X30 is a very well built light and has a good output also for use as a diving light or on land as a search light. The light has some very nice features such as the built in charger , the built in indicator light for the battery level , a side knob for quick and easy adjustment of the modes and a nice big reflector. (86mm inside edges at top) I placed this light in a pond near my house for a period of 12 hours on low setting and the light performed flawlessly with run time left as there were 3 of the 5 indicator lights still lighted in green. In run time test on high mode the light gives an average of 1 hour 30 minutes. The beam is a smooth beam , with good spill and has good reach for search or outdoor use as the beam is not a real flood type beam but not a real throw type beam either , but a balance between the 2 types of beam for good coverage and good throw combined. Everything on the light is easy to use , change or get to , so ease of use is there and is a good thing , especially for diving purposes. Overall a nice light and well built enough for everyday use or diving either one.[...]

High end search light, complete kit
The X30 is a high quality search light, that can also double as a shallow dive light. The package it comes with is quite complete – doesn’t require separate purchase of batteries or charger. The charger is a standard wall pack with a 12V DC, 5A rating. The fit and finish is excellent - could not find any imperfections or marks on the reflector, lens, or body. The thumb wheel style control is simple and easy, well marked, combined with the handle, makes it easy to operate with gloves. The ramping feature of the thumb wheel give you full control of the brightness level. Even the green and red lenses were properly sealed and free of any marks whatsoever. They clearly care about quality in manufacturing, assembly and packaging. The case is also quality w/hard foam inserts, soft foam on top for a secure fit of the light and components. It's a large handheld for today's technology, weighing in at 1510g (3.3 lbs) in your hand, 230mm (len) x 94mm (head) x 68mm (tail), or 9.1"x 3.7" x 2.7". It's quite large and heavy compared to many, but the advantage is the ability to run at high output for much longer times.Output Measurements (my light box and light meter) - lumens: Hi: 2,632 @start, 2560 @30 secs, throw: 152 kcd (780 meters) taken at 5 meters Lo: 228 lumensIn performing run tests on hi/max output, I've run it up to 18 minutes straight and showed no sign of stepping down the output. In a 10 minute run, output dropped 7%, and for a 18 minute run, output dropped 10% which is probably just from sag in the batteries or heat related to the LED - quite normal, not indicative of it forcing output reduction based on timeouts or temperature monitoring. The body/fins is designed for superior thermal management. The finning is in the proper location to maximize their use - the light performs at these high output rates very efficiently compared to other high output search lights. Most other lights in this category will lower output significantly after a couple minutes, artificially inflating their runtime specifications. The X30 uses a Luminus LED, most likely the SST-90, which is their latest version. It's not defined in the X30 specs, but from the look, design and performance, it's highly likely. I suspect the LED is driven at about 9A, based on performance and runtimes. The reflector is SMO (smooth) for best throw, but there's a small OP (orange peel) cup surrounding the LED. The combo of these reflective designs results in a clean well formed spot, resulting in the nice distance, plus it has decent flood to light up an area. The manual states its a 6500K cool white, which I would judge it to be correct. However, some prefer a more neutral tint for diving and searchlight usage. It could be argued whether this is the best choice considering the CREE XHP35-HI that's designed for throw and high output, or possibly a triple LED design based on the XPL HI.The power pack is rated at 7.4V 7,800 mAh Samsung Li-Ion cells with full protection against over discharge. That should be 6 cells of 2,600 mAh each. The 5 LED's of Red/Green are an innovative way to show current battery status. They will come on with the light powered, but are protected under the end cap to keep the 5 LED's and power plug waterproof. That means when diving or other uses with the cap on, those LED's will not be visible.Pros: outstanding quality in design, manufacturing, assembly, packaging. Easy usability. Good output in lumens and throw. Excellent for extended max output use. A light that's built for rugged use and outstanding design for thermal management. Nice LED indicators for battery level, easy re-charge.Cons: Cannot be charged via USB - requires a wall pack of 100-240 VAC. Can't have a backup set of batteries or battery pack for additional runtime in the field. Battery level LED's are under the cap on the tail,so not visible with normal usage. It is a heavy and big carry.Pictures attached below, showing the case and accessories, details on the LED, and comparison to a couple common flashlights - a SupFire M6 (SkyRay King style/size), and and a AceBeam K40 small searchlight.Note: the seller provided the light at no charge for the review.

The perfect first responder/ backcountry light.
The media could not be loaded. This is a very well thought out light. Rechargeable, multimode, low to high ramping, great run time and heavy duty. Not mentioned in the description is the charge indicator which comes on during use of the light and during charging. The light is well balanced at the spot where your index finger would be and has a unique rotary switch that becomes second nature to use in no time. It is very bright. I have to admit that it was brighter than my best light during testing. It came well packed and with a decent hard case. This would make a great first responder light to keep on a rig or patrol car. Testing verifies the runtimes listed. Recharging time was very acceptable to me at around two hours. The machining seems quality all around but especially for the heat fins and the knurling on the colored filters. The filters thread on easily and feel solid when installing. The light can stand on tail and has a tripod mounting hole. The beam is also very nice. A good hotspot for reaching out and not too small all the while you can also see where you're walking. When I removed the charging port cap air came out! Throuhgout all the elevation changes during shipping this light held air internally from the factory. I really like this light and all the features. The only issues I found were some imperfections near the led and some tiny ones one the smooth lens. Also heat distribution seems like it builds up internally too long before getting out to the heat fins. None of this affected operation and although a 2 hour runtime on high is available, the manual recomends a 1/2 hour on high mode which seems fine.I received this light at no cost in order to give it a full review.
