Nursing Assistant / Nurse Aide Exam

I found Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide Exam book to be a very comprehensive tool for review/practice. At the beginning of the book are tips for taking an exam. Each of the practice exams seems to be a little more difficult than the previous one. The last section of the book has what is called exam question outline. It classifies the questions for each individual exam into topics - physical care skills, psychosocial care skills and role of the nure aide. The student can circle the incorrectly answered questions and see pretty clearly where she/he needs more review. I tutor students in an English as a Second Language program and used this book with a student who took a nurse aide course but has been anable to pass the exam. Being able to pinpoint where to focus our study time has been very helpful. In the answer section after each exam is an explanation of the correct aswer and why the others are incorrect. I found this to be a very useful book

I teach certified nurse aide's in NJ. I bought this book to review as suggested reading for my students. I found it to be an excellent study guide for my students. It will help them study and prepare for their written exam to obtain their NJ state license as a Certified Nurse Aide. I highly recommend this book for anyone currently enrolled in a nurse aide program. This gives you practice exams with the correct answer and the rationale behind his answer. The cost is reasonable and affordable. It's worth purchasing !

I wanted to become a CNA after my first semester of nursing school. The sample tests in this book were exactly like the ones on my CNA exam. I had a paper 100 question exam, and the state requires 85% to pass. The testing center does not give out actual scores, but the proctor told me my score was fantastic. I honestly felt like I got 100%. Highly recommend.

A friend of mine failed the first time she took the state boards, but with this book, she passed it easily. Not only does this book have test and answer, but it also explains the wrong and right answers to each question. I'd recommend using this book while your taking the class, so you can have better understanding of what is discussed in class.

Bought for my mother and she says it's very informative. It's a good enough size were you don't feel like your reading a dictionary.
