I love this vent so much more than our prior vent. I love the suction power, I can see the steam being sucked up through those stainless baffle filters and removing and cleaning the filters and drip pan is not difficult. I love the design where it is seamless in the front. The light feature included is a bit on the dimmer side of what I would like it to be. The 6” diameter aluminum duct that is included with the package was only able to stretch out to a bit shy of 5-feet without tearing, it tore when we stretched to or past 5 feet, so we had to go to Home Depot to buy a new and longer one for our kitchen. My husband and I installed it and I find it very interesting. I still cannot believe that heavy hood is simply anchored by two nails; it’s still holding up so those two nails are doing a mighty fine job!

This product is a heavy duty, well made item. It arrived in a large box and was packaged adequately to avoid damage. We read the instructions several times and worked through the installation methodically. I would guess it was a 2 hour installation for us given that we had never done it before. We put in a kitchen remodel. It looks great, performs well, and the only negative is the noise of the fan. It was supposed to be quiet, but I feel like it is loud, particularly on high. I like the grease vents, and cleaned them out after one year. That was pretty easy. So overall, I recommend!

Love this hood. the buttons are noisy when turning off the fan portion but I went with mechanical over touch screen since this is over a hot stove top and I have seen the touch panels melt, warp, etc. Instillation was straight forward, my contractor only had to move the power outlet (three prong plug coming off the fan) so it would not interfere with the exhaust pipe. I did have to put two self adhesive bumpers on the bottom corners to level it out front to back but I believe that is due to my kitchen not the build of the hood. It is quieter at high speed than my Samsung microwave was on low. Solid construction, bright LED lights, pretty much everything I needed. Old microwave vented into the kitchen so I had this ducted 15' through my ceiling (oven is on interior wall) and outside. No more smoke filled house for this guy!

This thing is comically loud, like a jet passing over my house. The "quiet" and "loud" settings are essentially at the same volume. This whole "sones" business seems like a marketing scam. At least it drowns out my kids fighting in the dining room. If quietness in your kitchen is something you prize, do yourself a favor and take a hard pass on this clunker. Looks good and does a reasonable job with cooking smells.

excellent construction and quiet fans. Installed and vented directly through the roof. The color temperature of the light bulb appears to be 5000 k, would prefer a brighter 3200 K. I have not figured out how to access the bulb to change it though.

I didn’t expect the hood come in brushed stainless steel and the chimneys come in gloss stainless steel. It is really rare. The chimneys material are quite thin and dent easily. Noise level and the suction force are acceptable. It is not bad at all. Improvement on chimney material can make the whole unit much better.

works well. On recommendation from xtremeair, I installed it with 8 inch ducting straight to the roof. deep fat or stir fry smoke goes straight out. We cant even smell any smoke while frying or any other cooking.Installation of this hood was not trivial nor cheap. A good deal of cutting and roof work was required.

I love my new range hood. It is quiet and very efficient, and it looks beautiful. Fairly easy to install, but it is quite heavy (because it is heavy-duty). Definitely a two-person job.
