Beastgrip Pro + Wide Angle Lens Bundle

I love this! I purchased this to create YouTube content for my woodworking channel. The adaptability is fantastic. I love the ability to add multiple accessories on such as a directional mic - I also have my wireless lavaliere receiver mounted with a light and shotgun mic for an easy swap depending on what scene I am shooting. The build quality is fantastic!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased BeastGrip Pro for video and photography. I need some sort of grip which I can mount over tripod when doing unboxing youtube videos. This thing is AMAZING!! Great for shooting large groups without standing a football field away from the group!! Love this thing, plus the ergonomics and feel in the hand is comfortable. I think for the next gen version, another tripod mount hole in the portrait position and add-on strap mounts would be great, but for what i use it for, its outstanding, so good I bought another one as a gift!!

The beastgrip pro is flat out awesome. Been using it for about a week and couldn’t be any happier. Just the stability you get with placing your phone in the cage is off the charts. Wide-angle lens and macro lens are great. Set up is super easy all you do is place your phone in the cage and use the thumbscrews to adjust the lens right over your front facing or rear facing camera’s. I use a iPhone 6s and an iPhone X and switching it over is super easy. This is a quality piece of equipment. I’ve put this a top a Joby gorilla grip and it works fantastic. And the only reason for four stars is simply the price. I wish that the price was a bit lower. But you get what you pay for. If you go to their website they’re all sorts of products that you can attach to this. All in all super easy to set up And super easy to use. I recommend to all.

Love this. Very easy to put together and operate. I've been using this with my iPhone 6s+, and now my iPhone 7. Lens quality is superb... and the rig (which isn't too heavy) helps to stabilize the camera, resulting in a much more professional, cinematic feel. Feels great in hands, and very easy to transport.Hint: although video quality and stability is superb, you must use an external microphone (be sure to find a TRRS compatible mic system -- i.e. those with a 3 stripe 3.5mm plug). Relying on the built-in iPhone microphone is a bad idea because the rig not only represents acoustic obstacles, but also picks up nearly all contact sounds. The pics I uploaded show the unit mounted with a mini shotgun mic I bought here on Amazon.

I would love to say that this product is amazing, in which it is to an extent, but once you realize that you bought this, and can't add any pro series 2 stop ND4 filters to the .43x wide angle lens, without having to spend an extra couple hundred dollars just to get the right lens for the filter you already bought, doesn't make sense. I have yet to see ways around this problem, besides spending more and more money for a design that is meant specifically for their product and sizes. Keep in mind the filter I bought, was directly from the beastgrip website.

I'm not great at taking photos (I rely on my DSLR's Auto feature a lot) so this that a high learning curve for me. The unit feels solid but I think I should have started with a cheaper version before buying this. I used on an older iPhone (6s) and it fit well so no complaints on the actual product, just that as an hobby photographer getting started, it will take me a lot of time to get used to it. Given the weight of it, I'll probably use my dslr instead.

This is a great cage overall. I took it from unboxing to shooting within 5 minutes. The additional mounting points make it easy to add external monitors, microphones, and LEDs. The lens adapter is dead simply and easy to align and the wide-angle lens looks great.The scaffold-like construction on the right side may seem a little cheesy at first but it lends to additional flexibility for mounting accessories. I tethered an external battery pack to mine which serves as a second handle and adds hours of shoot time.There are certainly cheaper alternatives out there but I highly recommend this rig!
