Grandkids loved them
I bought these for a Spring party so my granddaughters could cut flowers from carrots and white radish. The girls are ages 8 and 10, and they had no problem cutting the flowers. Subsequently, I have used them to cut carrot flowers for a lettuce salad. It really added interest and beautified the salad. I hand wash and have seen NO rust thus far. I can think of multiple uses for these and like them so much I am now ordering sets for other extended family members who have children. The only downside is to be expected ā food waste. Fortunately around here everyone loves carrot cake! Cheese scraps can be used in cooking, and so forth. For those rating these down due to the small size, the size is in the description ā ONE inch in diameter and 1 1/2 inches tall. Iām very happy with these and glad I did not heed the negative reviews. One more thing: Wash these by hand. Dry them, and then leave them out to completely air dry or even set in a warm oven to dry overnight. I have multiple metal cutters and the ones I have made of tin rust easily. I care for them the same way and have not had issues with rust.

Great for making everything prettier
After seeing my mom hand-cutting carrots into flower shapes to pickle, I asked her what happened to all the little flower cutters that she used to have. Unfortunately, she can't seem to remember where she put them. I happened to go into H-mart and totally forgot to look for these so I decided to search for them here on Amazon. I can't attest to whether this is a good value or not (I got them from here for a little less than $4) but it was definitely worth buying here than taking another trip to H-mart.There were several comments complaining about sizing, either it being too big or too small but the description does say that they're about an inch in diameter so I don't see why there are any problems with that. I can see this hurting your hands after a while but I haven't had any problems at all using them to make flower shapes for all my food making needs. They're pretty much the same ones that my mom had and those held up for a long time so I'm expecting these to hold up too.

As compaired to Chuboos Vegetable cutters
My daughter has recently started school. I purchased both these and the Kai FG5032 Chuboos Vegetable Cutters to make her lunches more fun. Here are some of the differences between the two:Price: SS Vegetable Cutters winWhile neither of them are very expensive, these cutter are about ten dollars less than the Chuboos.Size: Chuboos are slightly largerThis can be positive or negative depending on what you are using the cutters for. The platform that you hand goes on is substantially larger on the Chuboos than the SS cutters; the Chuboos shapes are also somewhat larger. The size of the SS Cutters actual cutter is about the size of a quarter. You may refer to the pictures to see.Cutting Sharpness: Chuboos winBoth of these cutters have blunted ends, and it would be nearly impossible for you to cut yourself on them; which makes them good for little hands to use. However the Chuboos tend to make cleaner cuts. (pictures for comparison)Ease of Use: TieThey are both easy to use. Simply cut the vegetable (or fruit) into the proper thickness and press down. The Chuboos cutters however do have somewhat more complex figures which makes it easier for food to get stuck in them and not come out quite right. The SS cutters do not have this problem, however they lack the platform to press down on which, after cutting lots of hard veggies, can become somewhat painful. I have found a hand towel folded over fixes this problem for me.Clean up: Chuboos winThe Chuboos cutters can be placed in the dishwasher, which makes cleaning them super easy. They are not really difficult to clean in the first place, but it's nice to be able to toss them in the dishwasher if I want to. The SS cutters do no come with any instructions in English, so I'm not sure if they are supposed to be dishwasher safe; however, since a previous reviewer mentioned that theirs rusted in the dishwasher, I have been going the safe route and hand washing these.Overall Quality: Chuboos winAlthough these are Stainless Steel and the Chuboos are plastic, I have found that the plastic is much more substantial and sturdy on the Chuboos than the steel is on the SS cutters. This fact combined with the fact that the plastic ones will definitely not rust make Chuboos my winner.I must mention the seller that I happened to get was FAT CUPID. I would avoid them if I were you. As others have reported the product arrive to me in a package that had been opened previously and then stapled back together. Furthermore shipping costs were requested by the post office when the package was delivered, and therefore it was not free shipping as advertised. This in no way reflects the rating given to the product.

Make food fun
I love these things. What a great way to make food more interesting for your little ones (or for yourself!). These make great little tidbits for bento boxes. I cut slices of apples and then used these cutters to make little stars, and served them with a dollop of peanut butter -- got my niece to finally eat apples! I also cut cheese stars and put them on slices of tortilla (used a larger star cookie cutter for the tortilla) and lightly toasted them to melt the cheese. So cute! If you can make mealtime fun, you might keep your child on the path to healthy eating. It's worth the effort if fruits and veggies can be made appetizing for picky eaters! They also make interesting shapes for garnishing salads, appetizers, etc. Fairly easy to use, too. I like to use one of those rubber, flexible jar openers Rubber Grip Jar Opener by Fox Run - (Assorted Colors) in my hand for additional protection.

Nice quality storage containers
I bought these to pack up banchan I made for a picnic for my employees. I wanted something a little nicer than either reusable ziplock containers or takeout containers. I was really please that these looked exactly like the listing photos and the pink color was true to display. The glass bottoms wash well in the dishwasher. My only complaint is that the smaller containers do not fit with the larger containers inside the pink cooler bag provided. However, given the price point, this is a small complaint. Set is a good price point in comparison to more well known and twice as expensive American brandname food storage containers.
