Sturdy case. Attractive design and highly functional kickstand.

Admittedly, I just got this case for my 12 Pro Max a day ago. This review will be on the overall design and feel of the case. It appears to have all the necessary requirements to keep the phone safe and free from cracks and damage. The lip around the screen is raised enough to provide good protection and the sliding camera cover is a welcome addition as the lenses protrude quite a bit from the camera body. As other reviews have stated, I expect it to lose the ability to stay snapped shut with use but time will tell. The case is a little harder than I'd expected, with the black parts feeling like a hard rubber as opposed to the plastic of the main body of the case. This doesn't take away from comfortability when holding the phone, at least not for me but my hands are a little bigger than average. Typing and texting are easy enough although the case adds some girth to the phone, which is already large, but makes it somewhat easier to hold on to instead of trying to grasp the slick stainless steel sides of the bare phone. Hopefully I won't be able to report what happens when it's dropped because there are no cases I trust 100% but this one seems to be able to provide sufficient protection should that happen.Updated 9/12/22: I've since dropped my phone from varying heights onto various surfaces such as concrete and laminate floors (overlaying concrete) and my phone remains undamaged. I'm less than impressed with the included stand, however. It is absolutely useless now as it doesn't have any rigidity or tension. The cover for the camera is still fairly tight and useful.

I am an engineer and at my line of work we travel a lot, and risk phones falling and whatnot. I wanted a case that is strong, light weight and it have some sort of a stand. So I bought this two years ago.I have been using this case for the past two years continuously now for my iPhone 13 ProMax, and here are the pros and the some what the negatives:Pros:- Protected my phone from so many drops (tens of times). The case protect corners and back of the phone very well.- Looks nice and people still complement the case and its stand.Cons- The camera protection part is a little bit too snug. I wish there was an option without it that I knew of.- The ring stand would be a lot better if it had a tightening mechanism (a tightening screw).Nevertheless, these cons are mere improvement and won't stop me from giving the five stars.Buying this again after two years of heavy use.

This is my 3rd one of these casesThis case is durable I you are worried about dropping your phone however there are one or two issues1. The ring on the back will come loose over time eventually falling off2 The slide for the camera cover can become loose and no longer lock closed.That being said I have bought 3 of these now. I work construction so the durability this case offers plus the ability to protect my camera lenses is what keeps me replacing them when it eventually needs to be replaced.

It was perfect for my old phone

First, this case offers the best lens protection for the iPhone 12 Pro Max! For that alone, it's a great case. It's strong and rigid. I've dropped my phone on hard surfaces, at least three times. All without incident or damage. For that, it's a great value for the price. The case looks good. So why am I rating so low? This is the second time I've ordered this phone case (replacement for the first). The kickstand on the first one became loose and swiveled freely after only a few months. There is no way to tighten the swivel, so once loose... always loose. It was aggravating and rendered the function unusable. Pictures on Amazon of this case, show a common screw holding the kickstand to the case. This led me to believe that they improved the shortcoming, with a way to adjust (and tighten) the kickstand. What you see in the picture, is not exactly what you get. The case I just received is identical to the first. Time will tell if I have this problem again. I hope not, as I will not buy another if it does. So a fair warning; if you are buying solely for the lens and phone protection, it's a great purchase. If the kickstand functionality is important to you... then maybe not so much! Good luck!

This is my second purchase of this case. The first one lasted about 2.5 years before the stand and camera cover wore out. That length of time for the cost and convenience of this product was well worth it to me.
