The hinges work great. Good finish & well made. Only dislike was with the screws that hold the mounts. Phillips head screws didn't accept screw driver or bits. Wanted to round off so went to hardware store & purchased black stainless steel screws to replace

Great quality! Super strong! I’ll be honest once I seen them I had my doubts if they’ll be right for my job. But they worked great. I hand made shutters using 1x6 boards, height at 63in using 3.7 boards per set of hinges. For 3 larger windows I had to create a bi-fold and the hinges supported even double the weight! Extremely impressed!

These hinges were used on a mountain cabin for shutters. They are sturdy and were easy to install.

The diameter of the hinge is too big for hinge holder. As the consequence of that, hinges does not hold vertical position and must be installed on shutters slightly angled to ensure the vertical position of the shutter. These hinges are somewhat smaller than I expected. I used them to attach functional shutters to my cottage windows. The hinges, while small, work fine and are easy to install except for the screws. I had to find replacement robertson #8 X 3/4 in for attaching the hinges to the shutters and #10 x 2 in screws for the hinge pins. The phillips head screws that are supplied are too soft and the fitting from the screwdriver constantly fails with the result that the screw cannot be fully screwed in and because of the paint on the screws thay cannot be extracted . Very poor results for the screws and I lost a lot of time fooling with them before I decided to replace them with a better solution. These brackets are expensive for what you get and an additional $15 dollars for proper screws. This is a case of reasonably good design but a failure in the details on the part of the manufacturer. Looks good but installation was not thiught out sufficiently by the supplier.
