My seed potatoes came in a plastic bag; i put them in a brown psper bag; the bag also contained alot of dirt or something idk? Should i clean them off

NO! Keep them in the dirt so they don't rot. The first bag I got was full or rotten potatoes in no medium. They replaced them but sent them in dirt and they survived. Growing great now!!!

How many pounds of potatoes will 5 lb of seedlings produce?

I planted them in two different containers Neither one produced any potatoes Will not try it again. Next time I’ll buy them the farmers market.

We live in zone 9a. When should we plant for fall/winter harvest?

I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. I planted the seed potatoes in May. Not sure if I did it wrong or it was the potatoes. But they did not work for me. They all rotted in the soil. I planted them in the potato sacks I bought from Amazon. We had a lot of rain all of May and June, that could have been the reason. But I’m not trying them again.
