Salonpas Arthritis Pain Relief Gel, 3.53 oz

Diclofenac was recommended by my physician with the advice to reduce or stop oral otc nsaids. This ingredient, when used according too the enclosed directions works great. Salonpas gel in a tube is the lowest cost/dose for an OTC product of all listed on Amazon and definitely less than at US chain pharmacies. Using the dosage listed with the product gives the best results. I would follow those recommendations for length of recoommended time. Expect to see gradual results, not instantaneous.

Doctor recommended I try this on my arthritic knees. I was skeptical but got the lower priced version - it is great! I was having shooting pains in knee when trying to kneel for exercises and playing with grandson. Used it for several days. Shooting pains are gone!! I suspect they will return but a day or two of using this again hopefully will clear it up if they do! Very good to have on hand and a good price.

I have found that this works really well if you put it on the desired areas every day. It is not greasy, has a light clean scent and easy to spread on your body. If you're looking for instant relief from a product, this is not the one for you. I recommend going for Icy Hot if that's the case. But if you want something that works pretty darn well using this everyday seems to make it build up and stay in the system and I found significant pain relief from it, especially in my needs and the bottom of my hips.

My72 year old knee has been acting up recently, and oral nsaids were not touching it. A friend (who is also a nurse) suggested using a similar product (the "name brand") with liniment. This little wonder product is what Mom demands. Just after hip replacement surgery, and annoying nerve pain associated with the procedure, she swears by it. Sleepless nights become blissful slumber, and more importantly a better quality of life. I would usually buy this at Walmart but discovered I was paying TWICE the cost. $18 bucks at Walmart! I have been suffering pain on my left knee for a year. I tried every pain stuff to rub on and nothing helped until I used Solanpas. It absolutely works!!! I have a bad back as well and years ago I used the Salonpas Patches. They helped me many days at work. So when I saw this I said well Salonpas worked when I was younger so I went for it. It is a life saver. I can't say enough about it.

After one month on prescription strength diclofenac (2%), I switched to this OTC version (1%) due the vast cost savings. My doctor recommended it for pain and swelling following total knee replacement since I cannot take oral NSAIDs. I found it to be as effective using it 4x daily (prescription strength was 2x daily) but after 5-6 weeks of use I began to get an itchy rash, so I have discontinued it. I think it is a good product if you do not have a skin reaction.

I have been using other products to reduce the pain caused by my IT Band. Following the directions on the instructions has helped to relieve the pain in my arthritic knee. Only wish there was something to help my hip pain the way this has given me relief in my knee area. Oh well, I just keep using my CBD products to help with the hip issues.
