We've tried all types of "insect repelling" light bulbs outside, even the dark yellow ones...and we still get creepy June bugs, mosquitoes, and other flying insects. Decided to try these pretty blue lights, and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!! Bright for us to see, or for delivery persons to see our address, and NO INSECTS! SO nice! And super pretty! We have 2 porch light, plus one over our garage. Our house happens to be painted a deep steel blue, so the lights are very complementary. Also, it's really easy to find our house at night when you're looking for the pretty blue lights. We use them all year, and they look classy as well as fun! And NO BUGS, even in the hot humid summers in the Kansas City area! LOVE THESE!

I had some color changing bulbs and the blue seemed to be more like a teal color. Anyways bought these and it’s a night and day difference. Super bright and very blue. Great bulbs to show support for our local law enforcement!

These are a lot brighter than I thought they would be given their low power consumption. As others have noted, the bulbs have clear glass, but are definitely purple. Our light fixtures are motion sensitive and have two levels of brightness depending on whether motion is being detected and the dimming worked as advertised. It was such a great effect, we left them up after Halloween.

I brought these to replace My burned out green Covid honor, (Those Who Have Lost Their Lives), and these Lights are Great, I do hope they Last as Long as They Advertised. Well see...

Color was true

I have a lavender/purple bedroom. These bulbs are soft enough to put in my ceiling fan light. They are perfect.

Great new look to my patio and a great price

I use these bulbs for night lights (Mine use standard bulbs, not candelabra). The clear glass with red filaments should fit the bill, and I like the clear glass when they are off. They looked great when I first lit them up, just the right amount of light, good color. However, long-term these bulbs have been a big disappointment. Every one of them have degraded in light output to much less than the standard 50% definition of EOL. This is not a heat-related burn-out of the ballast; they just dim continually to where they are barely visible. This was over only 2 years. They are switched on/off, so this is not a continual 2 years either. I'm having to replace them with another brand which, unfortunately, has the red glass.

Nice purple light, not too bright, just enough for ambience. I tested it with a classical dimmer (not made for LEDs), works fine.What I don't like: the glass is clear, as described in text and shown in some pictures. The "group" picture though shows them as if they have purple transparent glass, and that image is not realistic. All my other coloured LED bulbs have coloured clear glass (yellow, amber, green, blue, red), it would have been nice to match that and have clear purple glass here. That is a personal preference, and other people might like the fact that these light bulbs look like an ordinary clear light bulb while turned off.

These dim very well and are a great blue for stage work.
