It works
The original power supply had a cord failure and both the outer insulation and internal wires cracked and were shorting out (nice popping sounds). So, this was needed. It's a bit heavier but that also means less apt to fail like the original. It's also just a bit warmer but nothing that would be dangerous...well so far. Biggie is it works and charges the LG gram laptop without issues.

Dangerously HOT
Initially, I gave this 4 stars. Recently, I inadvertently brushed my arm over the actual adaptor (the small rectangular box where the two pieces connect). It was DANGEROUSLY hot after only 2 hours of use. I don't feel comfortable using my laptop in bed (near fabrics) given the too-hot-to-touch status of this product.

Does not fit LG Gram. At All.
The part that plugs into the device isn't even remotely compatible with my gram. My laptop has a round hole for the power and this charger has plus in like my phone charger. In fact, the only reason I didn't return this is that it works for my phone and I needed an extra. But it absolutely does not work with my laptop, and that's why I bought it. Kind of annoyed; they should not say it's compatible when it clearly isn't.
