Samurai with a side of heart!
The second in the Contracts and Terminations series, Chasing the Dragon is a fantastic read on many fronts. Following the events of Requiem for Medusa, Tyrus Rechs is on the hunt for the last person on "The List" when he enters into a contract to find the Dragon, an enigmatic freedom fighter looking to end the Republic's control of his system. As someone hunted by the very Legion he founded, does Rechs beat him or join him? This book further shows the toll of continued warfare on the psyche and showing the importance of family, all while expanding the Galaxy's Edge universe. Even reading this as a stand alone, you won't be disappointed with the intense bounty hunter action, character beats, and story elements that have made Galaxy's Edge a runaway hit. Bring the tissues for the ending!

Wow who would have thunk it, Tyrus Rechs is human after all.
This book was wonderful. I have read everything except Contracts and Terminations 3, Forget Nothing and Tin Man. It is probably the first time I have seen Tyrus Rechs consistently think with his heart and not just his intellect and common sense. Pretty cool

even better than Book 1 of the C&Ts series
The interwoven backstories of certain characters--which I won't reveal here--were perfectly plotted. I enjoyed Book 1 of this series, and this was even more enjoyable. I liked the character of the Dragon, but I loved Tyrus Rechs. I listened on Audible, and the narrator is solid. On to Book 3!

BattleTech vs Star Wars, presented by Bruce Lee
BattleTech vs Star Wars, presented by Bruce Lee. Yeah, that pretty much sums up the book. Everything else I add to the review is peripheral. The story adds a bit to the Sinasian sector of the Galaxy's Edge universe and adds a bit to Rex's personal history and a lot to his character. The proof reading is a bit slipshod, but the writing and action is fast paced with moments of reflections as is typical for the Galaxy's Edge universe. A good read, four stars out of five only because Requiem for Medusa is hard to top, though the mental image of Battlemechs trudging across Star Destroyer hulls is something to behold.

Tyrus Rechs is at it again
Tyrus is back and he’s on yet another seemingly impossible mission across the galaxy. This time, to track down a mysterious figure from his past known as the Dragon. The bounty hunter must unravel mystery unpin mystery and remember long forgotten parts of his past if he is to survive. Along the way he’ll encounter figures from his past and new aquatinces, but who is friend and who is foe? Another great addition to the books featuring the gun slinging hard fighting galactic bounty hunter Tyrus Rechs!

Great stuff
Recently finished the Savage Wars trilogy, and decided to re-read the first two of this set so I could read the third one. Forgot how great these are, Tyrus Rechs has become one of my favorite characters. I love all the Galaxy's Edge stuff, and very much enjoy all the spin-offs and stand-alone books as well. I recommend this galaxy to anyone who enjoys scifi or military fiction. I can't wait to read the third!

Another solid hit
Would definitely recommend this one if you liked the previous entry in the series (or really any of the rest of the Galaxy's Edge stuff), though I will say the timeskip at the end of the book kinda leaves me scratching my head a bit. Makes me wonder how long before the first book of the main series the war on Psydon was.Anyway, If you really need something to convince you to buy this particular entry, though, there's:* mecha* ninjas* all kinds of crazy piloting* a pretty blonde femme fataleLooking forward to more of both the main series and this sidestory stuff.

The Best Bounty Hunter In SF!
I've enjoyed Rechs from his first appearance in the Galaxy's Edge story. He is a complicated character who doesn't stop and is extremely good at violence. He was the mould for and created the Legion. Well paced action that doesn't let up. Along the way we learn more about the Savage Wars, Rechs role and some of the desperate measures taken in a conflict that raged for 1500 years. The Savage Wars ended several decades earlier however some of the programs are still active. I'm not sure of the chronology for this book but it must occur several decades before the first Galaxy's Edge main sequence novel. The rot that will destroy the Republic is well underway. I look forward to more Rechs novels.

VERY GOOD
I was surprised, I started this series off thinking : “Ho Hum”, expecting another intergalactic superhero yarn.It wasn’t.Apart from the really good action, and almost-unique plot, the author has done a stunning development of the Tyrus Rechs character— very sensitively, and smoothly done.He evolved it, fed it out to us.A very good read, especially for this genre’.I recommend it.
