Arrived unsharpened
Hori hori are an indispensable gardening tool. This one arrived unsharpened, so I had to put a lot of work into getting it ready for use. I gave it heavy use for a year and it held up great, but I could never get the right edge to it, so it cost more effort. When it got lost I replaced it with a very similar knife from another brand which arrived sharpened.
