Perfect for competition training
Love training with the bar in my back yard. It might not fair so well in a strong man gym as those environments tend to be a little more abusive but for a home gym its great. Prepared me really well for competition.

Great Bar at a Reasonable Price!
I own 2 of these. I own the 12 inch and the 8 inch and Ilove them both. My UPS guy doesn't love me, but that's okay. The bar is solid, I have had it for over a year. I have used it a lot myself and utilize it to work out all the time. I have used it with clients (personal trainer) and I have used it for a strongman competition I hosted. Solid construction, I use cushions to drop it on most of the time. Clean, attractive. Looking forward to many, many more reps to come.

Does not hold 2 inch or Olympic plates
Says it can hold 2 inch plates, yet it can't. The plates are slightly larger and multiple brands of clips are too large and these are all 2 inch clips as well.
